The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater for two shows -- Sunday, December 20 at 9:30 PM and Monday, December 21 at 7:00 PM -- for the Seventh Annual Holiday Spectacular. Sunday's 9:30 PM show will feature Cole Escola, Molly Pope, Aaron Jackson, Liam Forde and Dane Terry. The Monday 7:00 PM show will feature Shaina Taub, Aaron Weinstein, Mark Nadler, Molly Pope, Dane Terry, and Rob Maitner.  Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director.

Michael Grandage Company and Emily Dobbs Productions opened the UK premiere of Richard Greenberg's THE DAZZLE at FOUND111, at the site of the old Central St Martins School of Art on Charing Cross Road.

Composer Gordon Getty's opera Usher House will receive its United States premiere as part of San Francisco Opera's double bill titled The Fall of the House of Usher in four performances, tonight, December 8 to 13, 2015. The Getty opera, a co-production with Welsh National Opera, will be paired with Robert Orledge's reconstruction of Debussy's uncompleted score, La Chute de la Maison Usher.

After a sold-out weekend in July 2015, at the CoHo Theatre Summerfest, performer Matthew Kerrigan returns to Shaking The Tree Theatre for a bawdy evening of storytelling, physical theatre and clowning, directed by Samantha Van Der Merwe. We are also excited to add a compelling tale, written by master storyteller Dario Fo, called TALE OF A TIGER, (Storia della Tigre) translated by Ed Emery.

For one 'wonderfully entertaining' night only, Coyote Stageworks brought to the stage an all-star cast in a tremendously engaging staged-reading of Oscar Wilde's THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST -- with a twist! Helmed, and created, by Tony Winner David Zippel, this EARNEST was set in modern day Manhattan and The Hamptons and was a (mostly) very satisfying adaptation. This special benefit performance marked the start of Coyote Stageworks' seventh season in the desert and their highly anticipated return to their home at The Annemberg Theatre in Palm Springs. As my readers know, I have long hailed Coyote Stageworks as the benchmark for professional theatre in the Coachella Valley and this stellar production gave no exception to that rule.

Dust off your disco shoes and get ready to have fun with puns. Thinking Cap Theatre will put its own unique spin on one of the theatre's most beloved classics when it presents Oscar Wilde's bristling comedy The Importance of Being Earnest at the Vanguard Sanctuary for the Arts from November 20th through December 13th.
