ArtsEmerson, Boston's leading presenter of contemporary world theatre, proudly announces the 2018/2019 Season, it's ninth, featuring eleven productions from seven countries. The season showcases three U.S. Premieres, including JB Priestley's Classic Thriller An Inspector Calls, Dead Center's Hamnet, and Global Arts Corps' See You Yesterday. The season also marks the return of multi-media storytellers Manual Cinema, and presents Shakespeare stories from Ireland, Russia, and New York; as well as a diversity of contemporary narratives on incarceration, racism, DACA, and what comes after the end of the world.

Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre presents "Solo: A Star Wars Story " May 25 through June 10, 2018.

Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC/CUNY) and the BMCC Foundation will host the 2018 Gala, Invest in a Future: Empower Success, on Tuesday, May 15 at Cipriani, 25 Broadway in lower Manhattan. Cocktails are at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and program starting at 7 p.m.   This year's Special Guest Star Honoree is Liev Schreiber, Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor, producer and director.

Andi Chapman directs the Southern California premiere of Nambi E. Kelley's visceral, groundbreaking stage adaption of Richard Wright's racially charged novel, Native Son, for Antaeus Theatre Company. Wright's iconic novel about oppression, freedom and justice comes to life on stage at the Kiki & David Gindler Performing Arts Center in Glendale beginning April 19, with performances continuing through June 3. Low-priced previews take place April 12-18.

The Actors Fund, the national human services organization for everyone in performing arts and entertainment, will hold its Annual Gala on Monday, May 14, 2018. The evening will celebrate Academy Award-winning actor and filmmaker Warren Beatty, Tony Award-winning Broadway and film director Kenny Leon, currently director of Children of a Lesser God on Broadway, two-time Tony Award-winning actress, singer and dancer Chita Rivera, and Golden Globe-winning, Academy Award and Emmy-nominated actress Uma Thurman. Mr. Beatty, Mr. Leon, Ms. Rivera and Ms. Thurman will be awarded The Actors Fund's Medal of Honor. The event begins with 6 pm cocktails followed by a 7 pm dinner and tribute at the New York Marriott Marquis. The evening will include special tribute performances by guests to be announced.

Don't miss the chance to see the live performance of Irina Maleeva, the celebrated 1970's ingenue of Fellini's Satyricon, Spirits of the Dead/Toby Dammit and Roma, and the co-star of Orson Welles' The Merchant of Venice. Rubicon Theatre presents a timely and trenchant production of Shakespeare's tragedy KING LEAR as the centerpiece of the company's 20th Anniversary Season. Cyrano's Theater Company presents ORSON'S SHADOW, a play by Austin Pendleton. This sharp backstage comedy explores what happens when several famous icons of the 20th century get together for a production of Ionesco's RHINOCEROS. As one might expect, hilarity ensues. ORSON'S SHADOW will open March 9th and run through April 1st.

During opening weekend - Friday, February 16 to Sunday, February 18 -- the public is offered a complimentary concession offer - Reserved ticket holders receive popcorn by showing the flyer (mobile device or printed); VIP ticket holders receive a complementary candy by showing the flyer.  (Note: there is a limit of one complimentary item per ticket holder).

To open the new season for Jersey City's favorite strings-attached theatre company, JCTC-KIDs present a revival of the beloved classic, Pinocchio.

Denver's Lost and Found Productions is pleased to announce its third season. For this season, two shows will be performed in two locations, offering different neighborhoods in Denver access to Lost and Found's unique mission of performing "lost" shows in "found" spaces. Tickets for both shows are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, and both shows are available for $30 in advance.

Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre continues its annual Valentine Day's tradition with Disney's animated classic "Lady and the Tramp" February 9-14, 2018. This special engagement is exclusively at the El Capitan Theatre.

The El Capitan Theatre presents "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" celebrating the film's 80th Anniversary from February 2 to 7, 2018.  Snow White herself will make a live appearance on stage before every show.  Legendary Disney Producer Don Hahn ("Beauty and the Beast," "The Lion King") will be in person at The El Capitan Theatre on Saturday, February 3 to introduce the film at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
