 The Bushwick Starr partners with One Whale's Tale to present QUINCE, written and co-created by Camilo Quiroz-Vázquez and directed and co-created by Ellpetha Tsivicos. Originally presented as an abridged workshop at the People's Garden in 2020, QUINCE is the story of a 15 year-old Chicana confronting her queer identity, family and religion on the eve of her quinceañera.

 Nancy Manocherian’s the cell theatre and Nightclub Cantata LLC, by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals, have announced the cast of Elizabeth Swados’ 1977 breakout sensation Nightclub Cantata, a provocative, eclectic and heralded theatrical creation rarely seen since its inception decades ago.

 Nancy Manocherian’s the cell theatre and Nightclub Cantata LLC, by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals, will presen the 45th anniversary production of Elizabeth Swados’ 1977 breakout sensation Nightclub Cantata, a provocative, eclectic and heralded theatrical creation rarely seen since its inception decades ago. 

One Whale Tale's Persou transforms The Cell Theatre in Chelsea into the Temple of Aphrodite and invites audiences into a sensual, immersive experience celebrating the beauty and bounty of spring. The interactive theatrical event is extended through June 12th.

Nancy Manocherian's the cell theatre has announced their programming for 2021, which will include collaborations with local and regional artists including One Whale's Tale (Founders Camilo Quiroz-Vazquez and Ellpetha Tsivicos), Amy Engelhardt, The Playhouse at White Lake, Off The Wall Productions, and HOLDTIGHT company.
