Fox Cities Performing Arts Center has announced the 2024 Center Stage honors, celebrating outstanding high school musical theater achievements in the region.

Jason Butler Harner is all over our screens these days. Currently, he is appearing in a newly released independent film called The Big Bend, which follows two couples who attempt to reconnect in the midst of undisclosed struggles that rise to the surface throughout the film. Harner also appears in Sugar, the Apple TV+ series starring Colin Farrell. BroadwayWorld sat down with Harner to talk about his latest film, Sugar's major twist, and his eagerness to return to the stage.

I love it whenever they take real strong women from history and infuse them into these musicals because it keeps their spirit alive and it lets us know what an amazing part these women played in the history of these great events.

International sensation The Choir of Man has announced a second season following the completion of its initial run on May 26, 2024. The Chicago production will return to the Apollo Theater stage in September 2024 to resume performances at the start of Chicago's fall theater season.

A Theater in the Dark has announced its newest audio play – BIO-DAD, by Chicago actor and playwright Julian “joolz” Stroop. This new play is a story of a young person whose journey to understand their late father takes them across galaxies and leads them to a greater understanding of themself as well as their family.

The Phoenix Theatre Company will present the beloved musical, 'Fiddler on the Roof,' with music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and book by Joseph Stein.

New Jersey Repertory Company (NJRep) has announced their West End Art Gallery will open on June 8 and run through November 10, 2024. Opened in 2017 and located in the West End area of Long Branch, NJ, the West End Art Gallery features artists from the tri-state area.

HBO has given a 10-episode, straight-to-series order for a new half-hour comedy starring and executive produced by eleven-time Emmy® Award nominee Steve Carell. Emmy®-winner Bill Lawrence and Emmy®-nominee Matt Tarses will write the first episode and executive produce the upcoming Warner Bros. Television series. The single-camera comedy is set on a college campus, centering on an author’s complicated relationship with his daughter.

I GOT RHYTHM kicks off the season that marks 90 years of Cape Town City Ballet. And that is something that we should be truly proud of here in the cape. I was curious to see that CTCB went with something non-traditional for the start of this big season. I GOT RHYTHM celebrates the music of George Gershwin.

“SOUTH PACIFIC is a masterpiece, and the role of Emile de Becque is an important one.  He is a man who hates war, has found his slice of peace, and is willing to fight for love.  It is such a joy to play the part and be able to fall in love eight times a week.”  Baritone William Michals is sharing his thoughts about MSMT and Fulton Theatres’ new co-production of SOUTH PACIFIC which opens MSMT’s 65th season on June 6, 2024 (Previews June 5).  His enthusiasm for the project is shared by his co-star, Carolyn Anne Miller, who plays Ensign Nellie Forbush. “I have fond memories of the show from the records my grandmother, who was an actor, used to play.  I knew all the songs by heart, and it is a thrill to play the role for the first time.”

Cauldron MultiMedium will present The Ho Must Go On written, directed, and performed by Phillipe Andre Coquet. The production will be presented as part of the 2024 Queerly Festival with FRIGID New York at UNDER St. Marks.
