Powell Hall 2017/2018 Season Announced

Today, the St. Louis Symphony announced an exciting line-up of Live at Powell Hall events for the 2017/2018 season. The concerts will feature films with the orchestra playing the scores live, the music of iconic composers, and much more!

Telly Leung to Bring HELLO, YOUNG LOVERS to The Green Room 42 This Weekend

Telly Leung - the Broadway and television star of "Glee," Godspell and Rent, who recently starred on Broadway in In Transit - will debut his new concert "Hello, Young Lovers" at the performance space The Green Room 42 at Yotel (570 Tenth Avenue at 42nd Street) for one show only on Sunday, April 23 at 7:30 PM.

Nancy Opel-Led CURVY WIDOW Rounds Out Cast at George Street Playhouse

George Street Playhouse has announced full casting for Curvy Widow, starring Broadway's Nancy Opel (GSP's The Toxic Avenger, Broadway's Honeymoon in Vegas). The sassy musical comedy will not only close out GSP's 2016-17 season, but also mark the final show performed in the Playhouse's current building. Curvy Widow runs May 2-21, 2017, with opening night scheduled for May 5th, 2017.

Matt Zarley Celebrates International Women's Day with 'The Estrogen Sessions' Featuring Billy Porter

Broadway veteran, Billboard dance sensation and People Magazine's first-ever gay "Hottest Bachelor" Matt Zarley has received critical acclaim as an LGBT artist for over a decade since his debut on the music scene. His latest release, The Estrogen Sessions, a tribute to some of his favorite female singers is Zarley's first entirely self-produced project and, will be released onWednesday, March 8, 2017, to coincide with International Women's Day.

The McCoy to Open 2016-17 Season with Brian Culbertson

Jazz/R&B/funk musician, instrumentalist, producer, and performer Brian Culbertson has released 16 albums, toured the world, topped Billboard and radio charts, worked and performed with industry all-stars, and received numerous awards including a 2012 Soul Train Award and a nomination for a 2012 NAACP Image Award.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Presents DEMO: HEROES

Following the success of last season's new DEMO series, Damian Woetzel continues to unite artists from across fields around a common theme in a performance on October 10, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater. This installment of the multi-genre series brings together acclaimed artists for a special one-night performance to celebrate their heroes and artistic inspirations. The cast of Heroes features soprano Jacqueline Bolier, singer/songwriter Kate Davis, Broadway and New York City Ballet star Robert Fairchild, tap dance powerhouse Jared Grimes, acclaimed ballerina Carla Korbes, visual art curator, author, and historian Sarah Lewis, Memphis jookin' dance pioneer Lil Buck (last seen as part of DEMO: Place), the MusiCorps Wounded Warrior Band, and jazz prodigy Matthew Whitaker.

McCallum Theatre Announces Star-Studded 2016-17 Season

The McCallum Theatre announced today its new lineup of world-class entertainment scheduled for the 2016-2017 season that includes Broadway hits Mamma Mia, The Sound Of Music and Chicago, concerts with Bernadette Peters and Kristin Chenoweth, family-friendly musicals and entertainment, holiday surprises, comedy legends and solid gold memories, all part of a very full and exciting roster.  Subscriptions go on sale on Tuesday, April 5th at 8am for the Broadway Blockbuster Series, Broadway and Beyond Series, Fitz's Jazz Cafe at the McCallum Series, Keyboard Conversations® with Jeffrey Siegel Series, as well as a Create-Your-Own Series which allows patrons to mix, match, and program one performance or a full season of entertainment tailored to their own individual tastes. 

THE COLOR PURPLE's Rema Webb to Make 42West Solo Debut

Eighteen year Broadway veteran Rema Webb, will bring her critically acclaimed one-woman show Children Will Listen to 42West for a one-night only engagement.  With original direction by Pittsburgh native and Tony Award winner Billy Porter (Kinky Boots) and presented by Rashad V. Chambers and Jacob Langfelder, Children Will Listen will be performed on Monday, April 25th at 7:30PM.

Vanessa Williams Continues Lincoln Center's 2016 AMERICAN SONGBOOK Season Tonight

Returning for its 17th season, Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook continues to broaden its scope in celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting as interpreted by top performers and rising stars, with events at three Lincoln Center venues.
