2017 Yale Drama Series Prize Winner Jacqueline Goldfinger's BOTTLE FLY Gets Reading in London

One of the theater world's most prestigious playwriting prizes, the Yale Drama Series Prize, will be given to Jacqueline Goldfinger for her play Bottle Fly. The 2017 award recipient was chosen by playwright Nicholas Wright. This year's ceremony will be held in London, with the play receiving a staged reading in November at the National Theatre Studio.

This May, in celebration of Frank Lloyd Wright's 150th anniversary, UNESCO World Heritage List-nominated Hollyhock House presents a J.U.S.T. Toys Production in association withCircle X Theatre Co. of a very unique immersive event, FEFU AND HER FRIENDS, written by Maria Irene Fornes, with choreography by Zsofia Nemes, musical composition by Daniel Szabo and directed by Kate Jopson. FEFU AND HER FREIENDS is the first play EVER to be performed at the iconic house, which is located in the heart of Barnsdall Art Park, a vibrant, artistic and recreational destination. Shakespeare Dallas Receives $35,000 Grant from The Arts Community Alliance

Shakespeare Dallas has been awarded a $35,000 grant by The Arts Community Alliance (TACA), Dallas' premier umbrella arts organization providing financial support, stewardship and resources to area arts groups. In a record fundraising year, TACA announced at its annual Grant Awards Presentation on Jan. 9 that it has allocated $1.5 million in grants to diverse and deserving North Texas performing arts organizations in 2017.
