Brynn O'Malley has appeared on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast (Belle u/s), Sunday in the Park with George, Hairspray (Amber Von Tussle) and most recently Wicked (Nessarose). Ms. O'Mlleys notable regional productions include Meet Me in St. Louis and Oklahoma (Laurie) both at the Papermill Playhouse. She also starred in the Las Vegas Production of Avenue Q at The Whynn.

Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys and Understudies with its next editions of At This Performance... to be held on Monday, March 9th at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, 2162 Broadway, (above the Promenade Theatre- Broadway at 76th Street), 3rd Floor at 8 PM.

East of Doheny has announced that it will present an invitation-only reading of the new screwball musical comedy My Man Godfrey on Friday, March 6, 2009. The musical, based on the book by Eric Hatch and the Universal Pictures film starring Carole Lumbard and William Powell, features music and lyrics by Tony Award-winner Mark Hollmann (Urinetown, The Musical) and book by Tony Award-winner Rupert Holmes (Curtains, The Mystery by Edwin Drood). Matthew August (Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas) directs.

The Detroit News Online is reporting that city Parks and Recreation officials pulled the plug on the spring-slated show, RENT: School Edition, just weeks after organizers of the city-funded Taylor Teen Youth Theatre bought the rights, held auditions and cast about two dozen teen actors.

Jamie McGonnigal and Joe's Pub present the 5th incarnation of their hit series in 'FLOPZ n' CUTZ 5' on Sunday, March 15th at 9:30pm. FLOPZ n' CUTZ, the series named a 'SMASH!' by NEXT Magazine, aims to acquaint theatre enthusiasts with shows and songs that, while not quite successful in their original incarnations, still have merits that can be showcased in a concert setting.

The concert had been set to play at The Zipper Factory until its unexpected closing earlier this week. In addition, Tony Award Nominee Stephanie D'Abruzzo (AVENUE Q) will perform and host the event. Also joining the cast is WICKED's current Boq, Alex Brightman. D'Abruzzo and Brightman join Randy Aaron (DAME EDNA: BACK WITH A VENGEANCE, JUNIE B. JONES), Kevin Massey (TARZAN, BIG RIVER), Brynn O'Malley (WICKED, SUNDAY IN THE PARK), Vanessa Ray (THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTRY SPELLING BEE), and Krysta Rodriguez (IN THE HEIGHTS, SPRING AWAKENING).

Tony and Emmy-winner Tyne Daly appeared on the hit ABC television show Grey's Anatomy last night and we've got some photos below. The episode is now available on ABC's web site for online viewing. Tyne Daly won the Tony Award for her performance as Mama Rose in the 1989 revival of Gypsy. Her other Broadway credits include Rabbit Hole and Edward Albee's Me, Myself & I. On television, she starred for seven seasons in 'Cagney and Lacey' and six seasons in 'Judging Amy.'
