This holiday season, Broadway will receive the greatest gift of all - a new musical. Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures in association with Unique Features announced today that the new Broadway musical ELF will open on Wednesday, November 10th at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street). Previews will begin on Tuesday, November 2nd. The production will play a limited engagement for the holiday season through Sunday, January 2nd.

Robert Lindsay will return to the West End stage to star in the title role of Martin Sherman's new play 'ONASSIS', which will be directed by Nancy Meckler. 'ONASSIS' will open at the Novello Theatre on Tuesday 12 October 2010, following previews from Thursday 30 September 2010. The limited London season will finish on Saturday 5 February 2011.

As previously announced, acclaimed Tony Award nominated actor Sir Patrick Stewart will return to Broadway in David Mamet's A LIFE IN THE THEATRE. Today, Variety reported that the production will play Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, following the exit of A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE June 6.
Following a sell-out season at the Menier Chocolate Factory Willy Russell's Educating Rita and Shirley Valentine will transfer to the West End for a limited 16 week run. Tim Pigott-Smith joins Laura Dos Santos in Educating Rita with Meera Syal reprising her role in Shirley Valentine.

Celebrating 50 years of Motown, the New Cardiff Theatre will close its production of DANCING IN THE STREETS on May 1st. The production began performances at the theatre on April 26th, for a limited engagement.
Christopher Timothy and Louise English join David Essex in the cast of All the Fun of the Fair which previews from 20 April at London's Garrick Theatre, with press night on 28 April and is running until 5 September 2010.
