SiNNERMAN Ensemble presents the world premiere "Days of Late," written and directed by Braden LuBell. The show plays the Viaduct Theatre from April 15 to May 22, 2010.

Come celebrate the rich culture of the African American diaspora. February is Black History Month and Brooklyn Public Library has free fun that the entire family will enjoy. Dance, music and theater performances that feature and celebrate prominent African-American artists, and a slate of topical films on a variety of issues comprise the 2010 winter/spring season for Harlem Stage - one of the country's top presenters, producers, and supporters of works by artists of color.

Following a sold-out Canadian tour, Michel Legrand returns to New York for a special one-night engagement at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center on Saturday, November 21st at 8PM. The multiple Oscar and Grammy-winning pianist and composer will be joined by French singing sensation Mario Pelchat. Five-time Grammy Award winner Dionne Warwick is the special guest star. The trio will be accompanied by a quartet of musicians, including Catherine Michel, the harp soloist at Opera de Paris, for a night of classical film scores by Maestro Legrand, as well as jazz and Hollywood hits, built around the romance and nostalgia of French ‘chanson.'

The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University (ATRU, 50 E. Congress Parkway) proudly presents the internationally acclaimed Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet for two shows only, Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. Tickets are now on sale.

Hailed a 'triumph' (Washington City Paper) in its world premiere at Washington, D.C.'s Studio Theatre this past spring, Stoop Stories comes to Chicago directed by Obie Award-winner Jo Bonney.

SiNNERMAN Ensemble presents Anton Chekhov's "Ivanov," in the first professional production of a contemporary American language adaptation by Sheldon Patinkin, who also directs, featuring eight ensemble members in a passion-filled production of this classic story that swings wildly from comedy to tragedy. In a community obsessed with gossip and greed, the brilliant Ivanov has fallen out of love with his wife and his friends and bankrupted his land, only to be dangerously attracted to the beautiful young daughter of his creditor. Chekhov's most accessible play asks the burning question "How do you live without hope?" Patinkin is Chair Emeritus of the Theater Department of Columbia College, and Artistic Consultant to The Second City and Steppenwolf Theatre. "Ivanov" runs about two hours and thirty minutes with one intermission. SiNNERMAN, formed out of a Steppenwolf Theatre summer program, is spelled with all caps except for the "i", and is named after the Nina Simone song.

Kim will also perform two late shows with jazz organist Rhoda Scott on Aug 21 and 22. Her 'Heart of Lady Day' shows are at 8 PM, with the Sunday show at 7 PM.
