Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Artistic Director, Mark W. Jones-Executive Director) is proud to present 120 of the region's most talented young artists from Paper Mill Playhouse's Summer Musical Theatre Conservatory in a fully produced, original concert on the Paper Mill main-stage titled 'New Voices of 2010: Pure Imagination', a tribute to the songs and shows that opened the doors of our imagination and took us to remarkable places.

Lindsay Thomas, Stratford veteran and 'Francine' in the Original Canadian Cast of Jersey Boys, passed away Wednesday February 3rd after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She left behind a great legacy of wonderful theatre performances and friendships, as has become evident in the outpouring of support shown over the last few days.

Toronto's The Stratford Shakespeare Festival has revealed revealed additional casting for its 2010 season. The stars include Christopher Plummer, Chilina Kennedy, Juan Chioran, Michael Therriault and Geraint Wyn Davies for the Festival's productions of The Tempest, Evita, Kiss Me Kate, Peter Pan and Do Not Go Gentle. Nikki M. James, who was previously set to star alongside Plummer has withdrawn from the festival due to 'personal reasons.'

Stage star and former Mr. Von Trapp, Christopher Plummer, will topline the new Indie film, Beginners, alsongside Ewan McGregor, Melanie Laurent (Inglorious Basterds), and Goran Visnjic (ER). Production has already begin in Los Angeles.

Composer and lyricist Scott Alan returned to Birdland on January 12th for a concert featuring a starry line-up of Broadway performers. The January 12th performance featured selections from Alan's debut CD, 'Dreaming Wide Awake' and his recently released CD 'Keys.'

Merle Dandridge, Crystal Monee Hall, Megan McGinnis, Carrie Manolakos, Patti Murin and Allie Trimm have been added to a concert celebrating the music and lyrics of Scott Alan at Birdland. The January 12th performance will feature selections from Alan's debut CD, 'Dreaming Wide Awake' and his recently released CD ?Keys.'
