The cast of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Hair will take to the intimate stage of Joe's Pub for a Sept. 14 benefit entitled With a Little Help From My Friends.

On September 14th, the entire cast of the Broadway Revival of HAIR will take the stage for two very special concerts at Joe's Pub. The 9:30 and 11:30 pm concerts, 'With A Little Help From My Friends,' will help celebrate and benefit Broadway and Stratford Shakespeare Festival actress, Lindsay Thomas.

Composer and lyricist Scott Alan returned to Birdland on January 12th for a concert featuring a starry line-up of Broadway performers. The January 12th performance featured selections from Alan's debut CD, 'Dreaming Wide Awake' and his recently released CD 'Keys.'

Merle Dandridge, Crystal Monee Hall, Megan McGinnis, Carrie Manolakos, Patti Murin and Allie Trimm have been added to a concert celebrating the music and lyrics of Scott Alan at Birdland. On Tuesday, December 4, the cast Off-Broadway's Walmartopia celebrated the release of the new musical's cast recording and the show's 100th performance!

The Paper Mill Playhouse will hold auditions for its summer musical theatre Conservatory on Saturday, January 26, 2008 and Saturday, February 2, 2008, from 9AM - 5PM each day. An audition appointment is required.

The cast Off-Broadway's Walmartopia will celebrate the release of the new musical's cast recording on the same night it celebrates the show's 100th performance - Tuesday, December 4.

Walmartopia, the new musical currently playing Off-Broadway at The Minetta Lane Theatre, will end its current run at the Minetta Lane Theatre after the evening performance on Sunday, December 30th, it was announced today by the show's producers.

The cast and band of Off-Broadway's Walmartopia recently hit the recording studio to lay down tracks for the show's original cast recording. The recording will be produced by Walmartopia's musical director, August Eriksmoen, and will be released December 1st, just in time for the holidays.
