The Wishing Kids Foundation, sponsored by BC/EFA and Fund for the City of New York, presents IN FULL BLOOM: An evening of song with Broadway's Best on Monday, August 6at Birdland in Manhattan.

Broadway Star, Karen Mason (Wonderland, Mamma Mia! and the upcoming Broadway show, Rebecca), brings her talents to the intimate stage (78 seats) at CAP21 where she is performing in their benefit series, Concerts for CAP21. As CAP21 approaches their 20th Anniversary, the concert series celebrates all of the accomplishments the organization has had and its goals of the future. Karen Mason: Unfinished Business will be performed through July 19 and certain performances include a reception that is available for ticket buyers. Ticket Prices range from $25-$100. The short film Mulatto Saga starring Juliette Fairley is an official selection of the 2012 Urban Suburban Film Festival (USFF) that takes place in Philadelphia from today, June 22 to June 24.

Ten Time MAC Award Winner, Karen Mason (Wonderland, Mamma Mia!) and Three Time Emmy Nominee, Colleen Zenk (As The World Turns) will be kicking off the first two events at CAP21 this summer, as part of their benefit series Concerts for CAP21.

FINGERLICKIN' FIERCE, a fun and fabulous one-night-only event with Broadway veterans Michael James Scott and Asmeret Ghebremichael took place on Monday, May 14 at The Canal Room. Check out the photos of the evening below.

Several Tony Award-winners are teaming up to bring an adaptation of the 1988 musical "Lucky Stiff" to the screen. The show, based on Michael Butterworth's 1965 novel "The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo," was written by Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty and first performed at New York's Playwright's Horizons where it won the Richard Rogers Production Award before going on to London and hundreds of international productions. Ahrens & Flaherty went on to win the Tony for their musical "Ragtime" as well as two Academy Award nominations. Other notable credits include "Once On This Island" and "Seussical." Ahrens has adapted the play for the screen, while Flaherty and Ahrens have written additional songs.

Acclaimed Off-Broadway not-for-profit theater company Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced additional details for its 2012 special online Auction. Bidding for the auction, which already features an outstanding array of unique opportunities and experiences, is now underway at www.BiddingForGood/PlaywrightsHorizons. Freedom to Marry, the campaign to win marriage nationwide, will host a Valentine's Day fundraising event with the Interbank Roundtable called "Get Engaged!" at XL Nightclub on Thursday, February 16. The party will include a VIP cocktail reception from 5-6 pm with special guests including Tony© Winners Audra McDonald of Porgy and Bess, and Nikki M. James of Book of Mormon, along with Nick Adams of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Rory O'Malley of Book of Mormon, and Max won Essen of Evita. New York Assembly Member Daniel J. O'Donnell, who helped lead the marriage bill to passage in the Assembly, will also attend.
