BURN THE FLOOR Comes To Seattle's Paramount Theatre 9/14-19

The producers of BURN THE FLOOR have announced that Robbie Kmetoni, Ashleigh Di Lello & Ryan Di Lello, Karen Hauer, and Janette Manrara will appear as featured dancers during the 2010-11 US tour of the Broadway smash hit. All five have been seen on TV's 'So You Think You Can Dance,' in the US (Ashleigh & Ryan Di Lello, Karen Hauer and Janette Manrara) and Australia (Robbie Kmetoni).

The SYTYCD Tour dancers along with host, Cat Deeley, took over Six Flags Magic Mountain, CA for the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE 2010 TOUR LAUNCH PARTY on Friday, September 3, 2010. The park was closed especially for the dancers who are about to embark on a 40-city tour which kicks off on September 19 in New Orleans.

Nigel Lythgoe will return to his role as an executive producer of 'American Idol' for the show's tenth season, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Lythgoe, who was an executive producer during the show's first seven seasons, will be one of four executive producers, along with Simon Fuller, Cecile Frot-Coutaz and Ken Warwick.

STAGE TUBE: Alex Wong Channels Fosse on SYTYCD

On this week's So You Think You Can Dance, top 10 finalist Alex Wong and all-star partner Lauren Gottlieb endeavored to venture out of their comfort zone and tackle a Broadway-style number by Tyce Diorio. In the rehearsal footage beforehand, Diorio said that it's 'Broadway inspired by the Fosse style but with [his] take on it.' Wong, primarily a ballet dancer, however, did not hit a high note with the SYTYCD judges, who suggested lacked the looseness and heat to truly represent Foose. On the episode, judge Nigel Lythgoe suggested Wong watch KISS ME, KATE and THE LITTLE PRINCE for inspiration.
