FUN HOME Brings Graphic Memoir to Broadway This Evening

Fun Home, the highly-anticipated, Award-winning American musical begins previews tonight, March 27. With music by four-time Tony Award nominee Jeanine Tesori, a book and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Lisa Kron and direction by Drama Desk nominee Sam Gold, Fun Home officially opens on Broadway at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street), on Sunday, April 19th.

Celebrating the first 15 years of the Musical Theatre program, Missouri State University will present FOOTNOTES, a joint showcase of graduating students and alumni on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 9:30 pm at Joe's Pub in New York. The cast includes Kyle Dean Massey (Next to Normal), Kendra Kassebaum (Wicked) and Andrew C. Call (American Idiot). The evening spotlights alumni instrumental in developing the musical theatre degree, as well as recent graduates and a handful of graduating seniors.
