According to Variety, Tatiana Maslany is set to join Matthew Rhys in the forthcoming HBO series PERRY MASON. Variety shares 'Maslany will play Sister Alice, the leader of the Radiant Assembly of God, preaching three sermons a day to a hungry congregation and a radio audience that spans the country. An entertainer, politician, God's conduit to the City of Angels, Sister Alice wields great power when she speaks, and plans to use it in ways only she can know.'

Hero Theatre announced today that Jeanine Mason (Roswell New Mexico, Grey's Anatomy, So You Think You Can Dance) and acclaimed actor and musician Zach Villa (Karyn Kusama's Destroyer) will star in the first two plays of a four-play cycle about the Cuban-American experience titled, The Floating Island Plays.

When Big Little Lies premiered on HBO in 2017, the show went on to win multiple Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, DGA, WGA, SAG, and Critics Choice Awards. Now the second season of the hit series is set to premiere in June with returning stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Zoe Kravitz, and Shailene Woodley, and newcomer to the series, Meryl Streep.

CBS All Access announced today that Santiago Cabrera ('Salvation') and Michelle Hurd ('Blindspot') were cast as series regulars alongside Sir Patrick Stewart in its upcoming untitled 'Star Trek' series which will explore the next chapter of Jean-Luc Picard.

 Danny DeVito, Vicky Krieps, Peter Sarsgaard, Saro Emirze, Dar Zuzovsky and John Leguizamo have joined the cast of Director Barry Levinson's HARRY HAFT, which BRON Studios and New Mandate Films are producing in association with Creative Wealth Media. The film began production February 25 on location in Hungary and New York.

According to Variety, Warner Brothers is set to release AQUAMAN 2 on December 16, 2022. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick is also announced to return and write the script. Read more about the news from Variety here!

Variety reports that Warner Bros. has hired David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who co-wrote 'Aquaman,' to write the script of a sequel.

It has been called the most important photograph ever taken-an image that led to a breakthrough in genetics research. The X-ray crystallographer who took it, Rosalind Franklin, is at the heart of Anna Ziegler's Photograph 51, next up on South Coast Repertory's Julianne Argyros Stage, directed by Kimberly Senior, March 3-24. Ensemble Studio Theatre (EST) (William Carden, Artistic Director, Sarah McLellan, Executive Director) and The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation (Doron Weber, Vice-President, Programs) announced today a second extension for the World Premiere of Behind the Sheet, written by Charly Evon Simpson (Jump) and directed by Colette Robert (Mary's Wedding). Part of the EST/Sloan Science & Technology Project (Graeme Gillis, Program Director; Linsay Firman, Associate Director), Behind the Sheet began previews at EST's Curt Dempster Theatre (549 W. 52nd Street, New York, NY 10019) on January 9, 2019, and opened January 17. Originally set to close on February 3, the play will now run through February 17, 2019.
