Multi-platinum recording artist Ingrid Michaelson will join the cast of Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 as 'Sonya' beginning July 3, 2017.

Just last night, Tony nominee Josh Groban hosted A Celebration for Arts Education, honoring the power of arts education with cocktails, dinner, auction, and performances by Groban, Idina Menzel, Joshua Bell, Brian Stokes Mitchell and the cast of Broadway's Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. Richard Kind served as auctioneer for the evening.

Renowned journalist Katie Couric stopped by Pierre's Russian salon this week when she saw Broadway's NATASHA, PIERRE, AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812. It seems she enjoyed shaking her egg, as she called it one of the most original and energetic shows she had ever seen. Check out her photo with the cast below!

NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, nominated for 12 Tony Awards including Best Musical, announced today that a new block of tickets is now on sale through January 8, 2018.

Last week, Lucas Steele's Wyalusing, PA high school chorus teacher, Carol Madill brought over 100 students from the school's current chorus to see him perform in the hit Broadway musical NATASHA PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812.

Dave Malloy, creator of the twelve-time Tony nominated new musical NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, made his Broadway performing debut in the show last night, stepping into the role of 'Pierre' for 10 performances across May and June 2017. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the new Broadway musical NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 invited fans to be a part of the upcoming original Broadway cast recording. Just yesterday, fans joined creator Dave Malloy and members of the cast to sing group chorus sections and to play the show's famous egg shakers for the original Broadway cast recording.
