Curated by Laura Josepher & David Sisco, Contemporary Writers' Circle: Fifth Anniversary Concert represents the best of today's wide range of contemporary musical theatre styles.

On February 15 (9:30pm) the infamous Skivvies team up for their Green Room 42 return by popular demand in 'Hit Singles.' Known for their hit duo act that has toured the country stripping down music with Broadway guests, Lauren Molina and Nick Cearly are at the forefront of the cabaret industry. With love songs and breakup ballads, The Skivvies will deliver a celebration of singles, on Feb 15th (National Single Appreciation Day.) THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced the return of "The Shakespearean Jazz Show" featuringFun Home star and Tony Award nominee Emily Skeggs and the Nine Worthies jazz ensemble in the exciting and original "The Shakespearean Jazz show" for two nights onFriday, February 2 and Friday, February 9.The show is directed by Emily Grill, produced by Ari Conteand Emily Grill, and features original music by Patrick Greeley.
Sarah Litzsinger and Kate Reinders team up for their Green Room 42 debut in TASTiSKANK: Smoke 'n Mirrors. Known for their roles in Something Rotten!, Wicked, Amour, and Beauty & the Beast, Kate and Sarah are two Broadway gals and real-life best friends who teamed up in 2006 to create TASTiSKANK, their singing-songwriting comedy duo. They were voted the 25 Sexiest New Yorker's by the NY Post and have over 1.2 million views of their tune, The Sex Song on YouTube. They have performed at Ars Nova, the UCB, Joe's Pub, Caroline's, Comix, the TBS Comedy Festival in Las Vegas, and won the 2007 Breakout Award at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen.

The Green Room 42 presents FAR FROM CANTERBURY: In Concert today, October 24, 2017, at 8:00 pm. Winner of 'Outstanding Overall Musical' at the 2015 New York Fringe Festival, FAR FROM CANTERBURY tells a reimagined version of 'The Wife of Bath's Tale' from Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales, and features book, music and lyrics by Danny K Bernstein (2017 Jonathan Larson Award Finalist), direction by Charlie Johnson (Beatsville, CHARLIE! Anything But Basic), and music direction by Jeff Cox. This new expanded story takes place once upon a time, in a land where fairy tales are considered current events, where we follow a shy young knight who dreams of one day having a fairy tale of his own. However, his world is shaken when he's suddenly accused of committing a violent crime against a princess from a neighboring kingdom. This concert presentation focuses on the first half of the story.
