10 Hairy Legs returns to New Brunswick for its sixth consecutive season at a new location. Tickets for the weeknight show are $10 General Admission. Tickets: 10HL.org. The evening features works performed in 10 states during the company's national tour in the fall and winter, including debuts at The Kravis Center in West Palm Beach and Dance Place in Washington, DC, and a Preview of a World Premiere by Yin Yue that will debut at the company's 2018 New York Season at Baryshnikov Arts Center. MTV, together with NAACP Youth & College Division and local youth organizations, will send 17 buses of young people from communities affected by gun violence to D.C. on Saturday for the March For Our Lives. Recognizing the immense power of youth, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Jimmy Fallon, The Roots, Yara Shahidi, Nick Cannon, Carmelo Anthony, Pusha T, Halsey, and Chloe x Halle have joined forces with MTV and NAACP to offer support and encouragement in various ways to the young people traveling to D.C. to participate in the march. The 17 buses represent the lives lost in the Parkland shooting and the more than 17 young lives lost* to gun violence every day. The buses will transport young people from Atlanta, GA; Baltimore and Bowie, MD; Chicago, IL; Greensboro, Laurinburg, Fayetteville, NC; New Jersey; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Providence, RI and Richmond, VA.
NBC's Trailblazing Program for Emerging Diverse Late Night Writers Names 2018 Class

Now in its sixth year, NBC's trailblazing program for emerging diverse late night and sketch comedy writers has named its 2018 class of writers. Alyssa Feller, Jonathan Giles, Michael Hartney, John Mahone, Cameron Smith, Natasha Vaynblat and Bryan Yang were chosen to be the new class of the network's annual Late Night Writer's Workshop, the industry's only initiative dedicated to discovering and developing late night and sketch comedy writers of diverse backgrounds. Chosen from 1,000 applicants, the new class will participate in an intensive six-day program this month that will ready them to be staff writers on late night and sketch comedy shows.

Nickelodeon today announced it has renewed its hit competition series Lip Sync Battle Shorties for a second season with 10 half-hour episodes. The ultimate music showdown, which to-date ranks as the number one show with kids 6-11 in its Friday night timeslot, features real kids lip-syncing pop songs in celebration of their favorite artists, while competing for the iced-out Shorties mic. Multi-faceted entertainer Nick Cannon returns as host, along with show sidekick JoJo Siwa. Production will begin in Los Angeles this summer.
Nickelodeon Greenlights MUSICAL DARES Brand-New Digital Short-Form Series from Nick Cannon

Nickelodeon has ordered 10 episodes of a brand-new digital short-form series, Musical Dares (working title), a new twist on the classic concept of musical chairs, set to air on Nickelodeon's Youtube channel. Created and executive produced by multi-faceted entertainer Nick Cannon, the live-action game show will combine real kids, physical competition and a full-blown dance party. As part of the work of the Viacom Digital Studios, Musical Dares is Nickelodeon's first original short-form series, and will begin production this summer.
