Next Theatre Company announces the third production in their 32nd season, Jonathan Safran Foer's Everything is Illuminated, adapted by Simon Block and directed by Devon de Mayo, at Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes Street. Previews are Thursday, Feb, 21 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Feb.22 and Saturday, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. Opening night is Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. The regular performance schedule is Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. There are Saturday 4 p.m. performances March 9, 16, 23 and 30. Due to the Next Theatre Company's Annual Gala, there will be no public performance Sunday, March 3. For information on the Gala, please call 847-475-1875. The Ruckus Theater and Tympanic Theatre announces casting for the world premiere of Brewed starting March 2, 2013 at Theater Wit in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood. The script of Brewed is written by Ruckus Season 4 featured playwright Scott T. Barsotti and is directed by Chicago director Anna C. Bahow. The all-female cast of seven includes Dana Black (Next Theatre Company, Lifeline Theatre), Ruckus Ensemble Member Stevie Chaddock-Lambert (Ka-Tet Theatre, Strangeloop Theatre), Tympanic Company Member Charlotte Mae Ellison (Clockwise Theatre, Awkward Pause), Meredith Lyons (The House Theatre, Theatre for People Who Need It) Ruckus Company Member Elise Mayfield (The Mammals, Infusion Theatre), Tympanic Artistic Associate Susan Myburgh (Right Brain Project, Chicago Fusion Theatre), and Erin Myers (The Mammals, 16th Street Theater).

Continuing its 25th Anniversary Season, Lookingglass Theatre Company presents the 2010 Pulitzer Prize Finalist Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, written by Rajiv Joseph and directed by Ensemble Member Heidi Stillman. Tickets are now on sale for the production, running January 30 - March 17, 2013 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The Press Opening is Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.

Southport, dressed as the father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud. It's time to brush the dust off your old tweed jacket, find your round spectacles and don a white beard. Bring a cigar! The production has been extended multiple times and is now in final weeks, ending its successful Chicago run on November 11.

Opening night is set for Saturday, October 13, 2012, exactly 50 years to the day of the play's original Broadway opening on Saturday, October 13, 1962.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION will feature a post-show talkback series in October to discuss Love, Sex, the Meaning of Life and the Existence of God at the Mercury Theater, 3745 N. Southport in Chicago. Winner of the 2011 Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Play, the Midwest Premiere of FREUD'S LAST SESSION has received rave reviews and three Jeff Award nominations, including Best Play. The production has been extended multiple times and is now in final weeks, ending its successful Chicago run on November 11. Written by Mark St. Germain, under the direction of Tyler Marchant, the production stars local theater legend, Mike Nussbaum (Emmy, Drama Desk Award, four-time Jeff Award winner, and recent Sarah Siddons Award recipient), as "Sigmund Freud" and Coburn Goss (Vigils at the Goodman Theatre, Dead Man's Cell Phone at Steppenwolf Theatre Company and Off Broadway When the Messenger is Hot at 59E59) as "C.S.
