Photo Flash: First Look at Candice Guardino and Vincent Pastore in ITALIAN BRED Off-Broadway

Acclaimed writer/performer Candice Guardino premieres the outrageous ITALIAN BRED Off-Broadway. With this 80 minute one-woman show, Candice slips in and out of characters as she cooks up a full meal of growing up Italian on Staten Island. Jennifer Blood, Jillian Gottlieb and More Set for UNLOCK'D Off-Broadway

Jennifer Blood (Cole Porter's NYMPH ERRANT, The Flood, Yeast Nation), Jillian Gottlieb (The Awesome 80s Prom), Sydney James Harcourt (The Lion King, American Idiot) and A.J. Shively (La Cage Aux Folles, February House) will lead the cast of Prospect Theater Company's Off-Broadway production of UNLOCK'D. Performances begin June 16, 2013 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project.

Bradley McCaw to Tour Australia and New York, Beg. June 8

Australia's newest cabaret sensation and winner of the 2012 Australian Cabaret Showcase, Bradley McCaw will tour Australia and New York from 8 June 2013 with his new show Cabaret: The Complete Authorised Biography.

ATG's HIMSELF AND NORA Begins Performances Tonight

The full cast of Jonathan Brielle's new musical Himself and Nora has been announced. Joining the previously announced Matt Bogart, Jessica Burrows and David Arthur are Cole Burden (25th Anniversary Production Les Miserables) and Lianne Marie Dobbs (A Tree Grows in Brooklyn). The show comes direct from its success at the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival. Previews begin tonight, April 24 with opening night slated for April 27.

4@15: FOUR NEW 15 MINUTE MUSICALS Will Feature BEMIDJI, TOMATO RED and More

4@15: Four New Fifteen-Minute Musicals, performed in conjunction with University of California, Irvine, will commence performances Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20, for three performances only at the Playroom Theater. Tammy Holder serves as Music Director; Brian Blythe directs.

NJ Symphony Presents an All-Gershwin POPS Program, 4/19-20

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra presents an all-Gershwin NJSO POPS program in New Brunswick and Newark, tonight, April 19 and the 20th. Conductor Gerald Steichen returns to the NJSO stage to conduct the Orchestra in Gershwin favorites including An American in Paris, Cuban Overture and selections from Porgy and Bess and Girl Crazy, along with songs from the composer's rich canon.

Planet Connections Theatre Festivity to Stage New Musical WALDEN, 5/29-6/23

The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity presents Walden, a story-theatre style musical adaptation of Thoreau's best seller, featuring his work on the underground railroad and his star-crossed romance. Six performances for Walden will be held at the Robert Moss Theatre, 440 Lafayette Street, NYC from May 29-June 15 as part of The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The Festivity will take place May 29th through June 23rd at Gene Frankel and Robert Moss Theatres in New York City.

Sasquatched! The Musical by Minnesota composer and author Phil Darg has been selected for the New York Musical Theatre's 2013 Next Link showcase and will premier in July 2013. This production of Sasquatched! The Musical represents a rare opportunity for a musical theater piece from Minnesota to be highlighted in a New York City venue.

Pamela Parsons Naughton, Wife of James, Passes Away at 66

According to published reports, Pamela Parsons Naughton, wife of Tony winner James Naughton, mother of Greg and Keira Naughton, and mother-in-law of Kelli O'Hara passed away earlier this month after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 66 years old.

No Accidents Productions' FOUR MESSAGES World Premiere Begins at Theatre Row Tonight

No Accidents Productions presents the world premiere of FOUR MESSAGES, a new musical by Ned Massey, author of the NYMF hit BLOODTIES, with previews set to begin tonight, April 17, prior to an official press opening on Tuesday, April 23, at Theatre Row's Studio Theatre (410 West 42nd Street). The New York Musical Theatre Festival Announces Full Productions

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the 2013 full productions for its 10th annual festival. This year's Festival will begin July 8th and continue through July 28th. An additional slate of special events, free events, staged readings and several educational panel discussions will be announced shortly.
