A tale of Lady Macbeth has been revived in a creation by Yokko, a Japanese Butoh & Theatre artist and her team at United Solo Theatre Festival 2017.

Due to popular demand FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade in association with Project Y Theatre Company has extended the World Premiere of Trump Lear, written and performed by David Carl, directed by Michole Biancosino and co-created by Carl and Biancosino, for additional performances December 16-February 10 at UNDER St. Marks.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley celebrates the holiday season with a riotous escapade, Around the World in 80 Days. Full of stampeding elephants, raging typhoons, and runaway trains, Around the World in 80 Days, adapted by the award-winning playwright Mark Brown, offers an imaginative and ingenious expedition for the whole family. Goode Productions (with Associate Producer Meredith Packer) will present the World Premiere of Greencard Wedding, an indie rock musical written by Jody Christopherson co-directed by Morgan Zipf-Meister at HERE (145 Avenue of the Americas, entrance on Dominick Street, one block south of Spring Street), tonight, November 29, through December 20, 2017.

Folger Theatre continues its 2017/18 season with The Way of the World, a new comedy freely adapted from the classic play by William Congreve. Written and directed by renowned author Theresa Rebeck (Mauritus and Seminar and Broadway; creator and head writer of TV's Smash), the production will star Tony Award nominee Kristine Nielsen (Present Laughter, You Can't Take It With You, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike on Broadway).

New Line Theatre, the bad boy of musical theatre, continues its 27th season of adult, alternative musical theatre, with a public reading of the new/old musical THE ZOMBIES OF PENZANCE, 'Gilbert & Sullivan's original operatic abomination,' free and open to the public, on January 8 for one night only; followed by Cole Porter's satiric masterpiece ANYTHING GOES, running March 1-24, 2018; and the St. Louis premiere of the world's first bio-historical musical comedy, YEAST NATION, written by the Urinetown team, running May 31-June 23, 2018.
