The Lyric Theatre will present Dixie's Tupperware Party on February 2nd and 3rd, 2010.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director), THE PUBLIC THEATER (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director; Andrew D. Hamingson, Executive Director), and BERKELEY REPERTORY THEATRE (Tony Taccone, Artistic Director; Susan Medak, Managing Director) present the world premiere of COMPULSION by Rinne Groff, directed by Oskar Eustis, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street, New Haven) January 29-February 28. Opening Night is Thursday, February 4.

Grammy and Tony award-winning songwriter and composer Duncan Sheik returns with his new album WHISPER HOUSE, from Sony Music. WHISPER HOUSE marks Sheik's first solo album since 2006's critically-acclaimed White Limousine and comes on the heels of the success of Spring Awakening. WHISPER HOUSE, which will have its world premiere at the Old Globe Theatre in January 2010, is a collaboration with up-and-coming young playwright Kyle Jarrow, already an Obie winner for A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant.

Making Porn, a comedy by Ronnie Larsen, chronicles the life of Jack Hawk, a straight, out-of-work actor hired by a gay porn producer to star in his upcoming movie. Joining Jack in the filming are a jaded porn star and an industry newcomer. Complications arise when Jack's wife finds out about her husband's new career. The original production ran Off-Broadway for over 500 performances and has toured throughout the United States.

Metropolitan Playhouse presents Give and Go: Learning from Losing to the Harlem Globetrotters, a semi-autobiographical, multi-character, solo show by 6'6' writer/performer (and former professional power forward) Brandt Johnson.

Playing Cricket is an academic comedy with a twist. Cricket, an aging graduate student ('I have almost not yet turned thirty') toils away in the departmental library while avoiding graduation.

Northrop Dance at the University of Minnesota presents Pilobolus, the provocative dance company of today's art world, with adult programming on Friday, Feb 12 and a family-friendly version on Saturday, Feb 13.
