NO PROVENANCE Begins Run at FringeNYC on 8/10

VILDE CHAYA COLLECTIVE will present the world premiere of NO PROVENANCE as part of the 18th Annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC, written by Kate Holland and Caroline Prugh, and directed by Kate Holland.

SPITTING IN THE FACE OF THE DEVIL to Play 9/25 Encore Performance at United Solo Festival

After a successful tour of the US and Canada, the critically acclaimed solo show, Spitting In The Face Of The Devil, returns to New York City for an Encore Performance at the United Solo Theatre Festival. Written and performed by Bob Brader and directed and developed by Suzanne Bachner. The award winning solo show has been produced in numerous venues and festivals including the New York International Fringe Festival, Garage Theatre Group's Solo Fest, Inaugural United Solo Theatre Festival, Orlando International Fringe Festival, Inaugural Woodstock Memoir Festival (headlined by the McCourt Brothers-Frank, Alphie & Malachy), San Francisco Fringe Festival, Atlantic Fringe Festival, Omega Institute, Victoria Fringe Festival, London Fringe Festival and the Montreal Fringe Festival.

18th Year of FringeNYC Begins with Press Preview Today

THE NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL FRINGE FESTIVAL (FringeNYC), the largest theater & dance festival in North America, will kick off its 18th year today, August 5th with a special press preview featuring live performances of short excerpts from some of its most exciting shows.

DBD Productions to Bring HALFWAY, NEBRASKA to FringeNYC, 8/8-22

DBD PRODUCTIONS will present the world premiere of HALFWAY, NEBRASKA as part of the 18th Annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC, written by Briandaniel Oglesby (She Gets Naked in the End - Latinidad Award) and directed by Daniel R. Melnick.

HOW DO YOU SAY MOTHER IN ESPERANTO? Set for FringeNYC, Begin. 8/8

Other Productions has announced its debut production of How Do You Say Mother in Esperanto? by Roger Weisman, as part of the 18th annual New York International Fringe Festival. This world premiere, directed by Lauren Miller (Adjunct Company Member at TACT, Producer of the newTACTics New Play Festival), will be mounted at the brand new Sheen Center - The Black Box (18 Bleecker Street, Fringe NYC Venue #14) for 5 performances: Friday August 8th at 5:00PM, Sunday August 10th at 12:00PM, Wednesday August 13th at 9:45PM, Saturday August 16th at 4:45PM, and Thursday August 21st at 9:00PM. The performance runs 80 minutes with no intermission.

Stark Naked Theatre to Present THE GOD GAME Through 9/20

Following a critically-acclaimed third season, Stark Naked Theatre Company opens its fourth season on September 5th with the southwest regional premiere of The God Game, written by award-winning playwright Suzanne Bradbeer. Critics praised The God Game in its world premiere earlier this year, calling it "a superb new drama" and "the sort of new work that theatre fans long to see." And just in time for election season, Houston audiences will likewise be enthralled with Stark Naked's production of this exciting political drama. The God Game is a relevant and thought-provoking new play that deftly examines the role of faith on the national political stage. Running through September 20th at Stark Naked Theatre's STUDIO 101, The God Game is directed by Jennifer Dean and features perennial favorites Justin Doran, Philip Lehl, and Kim Tobin-Lehl in the lead roles.

Lorinda Lisitza & Hannah Sloat to Lead DRAGON'S BREATH at FringeNYC, 8/9-23

DRAGON'S BREATH premieres at the 18th Annual New York International Fringe Festival on August 9th. Playwright, Michael C. O'Day makes his writing debut with this production. As an actor, he has appeared at the Public Theatre, Classical Theatre of Harlem, and the Paper Mill Playhouse, among other venues - most recently Judson Arts in the acclaimed revival of The Bonus Army. DRAGON'S BREATH is directed by Mikaela Kafka, known for her directing work with Centenary Stage and NJ Dramatists.

ABSOLUTELY FILTHY Set to Premiere at FringeNYC on 8/8

Following its sold out run at South Coast Reportory's Studio SCR series, the critically acclaimed ABSOLUTELY FILTHY will be premiering at The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), with performances from August 8th through the 24th at Venue #17, The Players Theatre (115 MacDougal Street between West 3rd and Bleeker).
