Levitt at the Falls announces its first free outdoor concert set for Friday, August 3rd at the 8th & RR Center in Sioux Falls at 7 PM. The concert will be a one-of-a-kind musical collaboration between Southern raconteur Paul Thorn and his five-piece band and GRAMMY-winning gospel legends Blind Boys of Alabama.

If it's Friday night, the lights are low, and you're looking out for a place to go, catching a musical at Casa Manana is generally a pretty solid option. In all honesty, there are few US theatre companies who can compete with their ability to bring Broadway-caliber entertainment to a regional stage. And although MAMMA MIA is not full of deep meaning, the jukebox hit still is able to scratch your Broadway itch.

 Gravitas Ventures announces today that they have acquired worldwide rights to the horror-thriller 14 CAMERAS, directed by Scott Hussion and Seth Fuller.  Written by Victor Zarcoff, the film is the highly-anticipated sequel to the critically-acclaimed horror title 13 CAMERAS (New York Times Critic's Pick), released by Gravitas Ventures in 2015.  The film will be released in theaters and on demand nationwide on July 27th. 

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association today announced the following updates to the 2018/19 season at Walt Disney Concert Hall.  

The Houston Symphony announced today the international release of the live recording of Haydn-The Creation on the Dutch classical music label Pentatone. The CD is now available for purchase through houstonsymphony.org. Digital downloads are available through Amazon.

Today, Red BULL Arts New York debuts RAMM?LLZ??: It's Not Who But What, a documentary short film about the legendary artist, graffiti writer, hip-hop pioneer, myth-maker, and New York cult icon, RAMM?LLZ??.

The Orchard has acquired U.S. rights to the jazz-inspired drama THE SONG OF SWAY LAKE. Directed by Ari Gold (Adventures of Power), who co-wrote the film with Elizabeth Bull, the film stars Rory Culkin (Signs), Robert Sheehan (Geostorm) and Mary Beth Peil (Tony nominee for Anastasia). THE SONG OF SWAY LAKE will be released in theaters on September 21st and on VOD and Digital HD on September 25th. 

NOTTINGHAM Playhouse and Fifth Word has announced the full cast for its first Neville Studio production under the artistic direction of Adam Penford.

The program will also include Schubert's Piano Trio in B-Flat Major, D. 898 (Op. 99).

Three-time Tony Award nominee and Laurence Olivier Award winner Andy Karl will star as 'Edward Lewis' in PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL on Broadway. Karl will assume the role from Steve Kazee who departs the production for family reasons.

Your Alice by Billie Aken-Tyers opens Off-Broadway for a limited-engagement before heading across the pond to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Produced by Pink House Productions LLC. and Ophelia Theatre Group, Your Alice runs at BAM's Fishman Space May 23-26 at 7:30 p.m. and May 26 and 27 at 2:00 p.m. The story follows Charles Dodgson (pen name Lewis Carroll) as he tells his child muse, Alice, her favorite story for the last time. As they sail down the Oxford River, his beloved characters weave the audience in and out of Wonderland and through his tortured relationship with 10-year-old Miss Liddel.

A layered stage and stellar cast bring dimension to Soulpepper's production of MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM. Directed by Mumbi Tindyebwa Otu, this adaptation of August Wilson's 1982 play follows an afternoon recording session in 1920s Chicago where the music takes a back seat to discussions of race and human rights.
