The program features LA Phil Principal Concertmaster Martin Chalifour as the soloist in Suk's Fantasie, the composer's brilliant and rarely heard fantasy-concerto. Bookending the Suk work are two offerings from Brahms - his Tragic Overture and the dramatic Fourth Symphony, for which the LA Phil won its most recent Grammy award.

Center Stage announces the full cast and creative team for the world premiere production of Marley, a new musical with music and lyrics by Bob Marley, and written and directed by Center Stage Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah. NEVILLE'S ISLAND is a fish out of water story about four guys trying to bond and survive on a corporate team building excursion gone awry. The Art Institute of Chicago announces a groundbreaking exhibition featuring five ultra-current practitioners alongside works from its vast collection of architecture and design in Chatter: Architecture Talks Back, on view in the Architecture and Design galleries in the museum's Modern Wing from today, April 11, 2015, through July 12, 2015.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre will conclude its 48th season with Richard Bean's internationally acclaimed One Man, Two Guvnors, a sassy update of Carlo Goldoni's classic knee-slapper, The Servant of Two Masters. Set in 1963 Brighton, England, One Man, Two Guvnors is a brilliantly delicious mash-up of splendid comedy, British pantomime, and music-hall revues. The uproarious plot features a disarming and doltish Francis Henshall who finds himself trapped by farce into working for two bosses - who are connected in wildly improbable ways. He just has to keep them from discovering each other. Inspired insanity, high-low antics, and nimble wordplay ensue - all backed by live musicians paying homage to rockabilly and a certain Fab Four. Directed by David Ivers - artistic director of the Utah Shakespeare Festival - and with songs by Grant Olding, One Man, Two Guvnors is a riotous blast complete with a colorful cast of characters in a topsy-turvy world of love triangles and mistaken identities. It previews on Friday May 8, 2015, opens on Friday, May 15, 2015, and plays through Sunday June 21, 2015. Press night for One Man, Two Guvnors will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015. If you're looking at the program for THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, see the name Rupert Holmes (book, music, and lyrics) and are instantly reminded of the fact he wrote and sang the number one hit 'Escape (The Pina Colada Song'), you'll probably be a bit surprised at the production that you're about to watch. But, I guarantee you it will be a very pleasant one, because Holmes takes the tradition of circa 1890's English Music Hall and uses it in delightfully imaginative fashion to craft a vehicle for the unfinished last work of classic author Charles Dickens. It's a kind of play within a play, and in the cozy confines of the Tower Grove Abbey, it's an absolutely perfect fit. It brings the performers right into your lap, and it's so much fun that you can't help but get completely caught up in the merriment. This lively production by Stray Dog Theatre is sure to please, so get your tickets while you can!

The Bijou Theatre in Bijou Square, Bridgeport, presents the hilarious, murder musical, The Mystery of Edwin Drood directed by Maggie Pangrazio with Music Direction by Thomas Buckley. This is the fourth show in Main Stage Theatre Series. The show kicks off tonight, April 10th at 8pm with shows running until Saturday, April 18th.
