?AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' is a roof-raising musical tribute to the black musicians of the '20s and '30s. Based on the signature Fats Waller song, this rousing musical revue takes audiences back to the glory days of the Harlem Renaissance when the Cotton Club and Savoy Ballroom served as playgrounds for high society. You'll be tapping your feet as five performers take you on a journey, presenting an evening of rowdy, raunchy, and humorous songs. Directed by Yvette Freeman, known for her work as a television actress in the medical drama series "ER", who replaced Nell Carter in the original Broadway production of AIN'T MISBEHAVIN'. Later, Ms. Freeman went on to direct the show all over the country. 

Randy Skinner is a tap dancing master and his resume is proof of it. The four-time Tony nominee just earned a nod for his work on DAMES AT SEA (Best Choreography) and he is just as happy about it as he was the first time!

Doubtless, there's a lot of hustling, bustling and what-not going on at Murfreesboro's Center For The Arts today as the company prepares for tonight's premiere of the musical extravaganza Dreamgirls. Directed by 2013 First Night Most Promising Actor Matthew Hayes Hunter (who may or may not answer to the name of "Matt" these days), the grand-scale production features four of the loveliest, most talented and mesmerizing leading ladies to be found on any stage, anywhere: Ra'Shaun Simon (playing Deena Jones), Brianna Booker (Lorell Robinson), Brittany Easley (Michelle Morris) and Robbyn "Vyrgo" Daniel, who plays the clarion-voiced Effie Melody White, the part made famous on Broadway by Jennifer Holliday.

Singer/Actress Frenchie Davis brings her brash wit and iconic vocal style to The Copa in Palm Springs for two intimate performances, January 16 and 17 at 8:00 pm. Davis auditioned for the second season of the groundbreaking FOX show "American Idol" and her tremendous success on the show launched a career that has taken her to Broadway (Rent, Dreamgirls and eventually becoming a Grammy-nominated artist for the revival of Ain't Misbehavin') and, perhaps, her highest profile gig as one of the top four finalists in the first season of The Voice. Her cover of 'When Love Takes Over' landed at #3 on the iTunes Dance Chart. I had the chance to chat with French as she was preparing for her Palm Springs engagement. Longtime Broadway performer TERRI WHITE took The Kennedy Center stage in a farewell solo performance that covered her many roles, thoughts on life and love of her family and the theatre.

s I was waiting for my theatre guest to arrive at the Pantages Tuesday night for the opening of ANNIE, a school bus pulled up. Within seconds, a gaggle of little girls spilled out onto the sidewalk shrieking in anticipation and taking pictures of the sparkly marquee on their smart phones. They were only minutes away from seeing her - that spunky little red-haired orphan, Annie, and they could barely contain themselves. 

Terri White, whose career has spanned over 40 years in show business tonight announced her farewell from live performing.

Radio show co-hosts Jill Whelan (Love Boat, Airplane, Celebrity Wife Swap) and Alexander Rodriguez (Happy Hour) from Universal Broadcasting Network's newest show "On The Rocks" will hit the stage on August 24th debuting their new duet cabaret show, 'Musical Madness!' - a roller coaster of stories, audience participation, and dramedy, belted out by your co-hosts featuring music from stage, screen and pop.

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston continues its 47th consecutive summer season with the hilariously entertaining Kiss Me, Kate, from July 9-19, 2015 at the Robinson Theatre (617 Lexington St. Waltham, MA, 02452). Starring Broadway couple Sarah Pfisterer as Lilli Vanessi/Kate (The Phantom of the Opera, Reagle's My Fair Lady) and Rick Hilsabeck as Fred Graham/Petruchio (Billy Elliot, Reagle's My Fair Lady), Cole Porter's hilarious musical recounts the madcap backstage and onstage antics of two feuding couples during a production of The Taming of the Shrew. Reagle will close out its summer season from August 6-16 with Wonderful Town, starring Katie Anne Clarke and Jennifer Ellis.
