The Boston One-Minute Play Festival (#1MPF) returns for The 7th Annual Boston One-Minute Play Festival!

The timely play that mixes social commentary, family drama and humor courtesy of playwrights Gabi Mor & Eva Mor is now being produced by FUNKY LITTLE THEATER in Colorado Springs CO. The regional premiere kicks off on Jan 19 and runs through Feb 3 2018.

That Physics Show - now in its 3rd year Off Broadway - recipient of the 2016 Drama Desk Award for 'Unique Theatrical Experience,' written and performed by lifetime physics demonstrator David Maiullo (and his alternate, fellow physics demonstrator Andrew Yolleck) and That Chemistry Show, written by Borislaw Bilash will delight, amaze and educate audiences in their final performances at The Physics Theatre (300 West 43rd Street).

Ripped from today's headlines, this is the story of a farming community and its struggles with issues of immigration, loyalty, family survival and compassion.

SYFY renewed action-horror series Van Helsing today for a third season. The hour-long drama will wrap its Season 2 run on Thursday, January 4 9/8c and return next fall with 13 all new episodes. Production on the new season is expected to begin in February 2018.

WTG launches a new series of plays under the name of Fractured Theatre @ WTG. Artists Rep presents the World Premiere of Magellanica, by E.M. Lewis, directed by D maso Rodr guez from January 20 through February 18 on the theatre's Morrison Stage. Magellanica is a five-part epic play written by Oregon playwright E.M. Lewis. This production is made possible through major funding from the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) Creative Heights Initiative and the Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. Magellanica is a part of Portland's Fertile Ground Festival of New Works.
