The Shape of Things, tells of a shy college student named Adam, who falls in love with an outgoing and beautiful graduate student in art, named Evelyn.

Profiles Theatre is bringing back its acclaimed Midwest Premiere of Jailbait by Deirdre O'Connor, directed by Artistic Director Joe Jahraus, for a limited engagement at its new space, The Second Stage.

As reported by Deadline.com, Brendan Fraser and Kristin Scott Thomas will star in Neil LaBute's new film, Seconds of Pleasure. The site also reports that Ed Harris and Colin Firth are in talks to appear in the movie.

The production features actors Tracee Chimo, David Duchovny, John Earl Jelks and Amanda Peet, under the direction of Jo Bonney. An official opening night is set for this Monday, November 22, 2010. The Break of Noon is a co-production with the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles (Gil Cates, Producing Director; Randall Arney, Artistic Director; Ken Novice, Managing Director).

Victory Gardens continues its 2010/11 Season with the world premiere of The Boys Room by Ensemble Playwright Joel Drake Johnson, directed by Associate Artistic Director Sandy Shinner. The Boys Room marks Shinner and Johnson's sixth collaboration-A Guide For The Perplexed, Four Places, The End of the Tour, Before My Eyes, all at Victory Gardens, and Tranquillity Woods for Steppenwolf's First Look series. The production runs January 21 - February 20, 2011 at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Park. The Press Opening is Monday, January 31, 2011, at 7:30 pm.

Tom Attenborough will direct Rhapsody of Words' production of Neil LaBute's The Shape of Things at The Gallery Soho, which runs from 27 January to 6 March 2011, with press night on 1 February 2011.
