Tennant and Tate Set for MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING at Wyndham's Theatre

David Tennant and Catherine Tate are to appear together on stage for the first time in a new production of William Shakespeare's timeless comedy Much Ado About Nothing directed by Josie Rourke. Opening at Wyndham's Theatre on Wednesday 1 June with previews from Monday 16 May and booking until Saturday 3 September 2011, Much Ado About Nothing is presented in the West End by Sonia Friedman Productions. Booking for the production opens today (8 January 2011) and further casting will be announced shortly.

Stage and screen star Julia Stiles will join comedy superstar and actor Dane Cook and stage, film, and television actor Josh Hamilton this spring in the first Broadway production of Neil LaBute's FAT PIG at Broadway's Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street). LaBute will make his Broadway directorial debut with the play, which begins performances Tuesday, April 12, 2011 for an official opening night of Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Additional creative team members, ticket on-sale information, and casting for the role of Helen will be announced shortly.

MCC Theater (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director) today announced that their world premiere production of The Break of Noon, by Neil LaBute, has been extended through December 22, 2010 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC). The production features actors Tracee Chimo, David Duchovny, John Earl Jelks and Amanda Peet, under the direction of Jo Bonney. An official opening night is set for this Monday, November 22, 2010. The Break of Noon is a co-production with the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles (Gil Cates, Producing Director; Randall Arney, Artistic Director; Ken Novice, Managing Director).

Victory Gardens continues its 2010/11 Season with the world premiere of The Boys Room by Ensemble Playwright Joel Drake Johnson, directed by Associate Artistic Director Sandy Shinner. The Boys Room marks Shinner and Johnson's sixth collaboration-A Guide For The Perplexed, Four Places, The End of the Tour, Before My Eyes, all at Victory Gardens, and Tranquillity Woods for Steppenwolf's First Look series. The production runs January 21 - February 20, 2011 at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Park. The Press Opening is Monday, January 31, 2011, at 7:30 pm.
