The two plays will be presented as pared-down productions and run in repertory through Sunday, May 25 in The Public's Shiva Theater.

Casting, Complete Show Schedules Announced for Clubbed Thumb's SUMMERWORKS 2014

Casting has been announced and a complete schedule is set for SUMMERWORKS 2014 - the annual season of new plays presented by the four-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb -- it has been announced by Maria Striar, Clubbed Thumb's Producing Artistic Director. SUMMERWORKS 2014 will be presented May 30 to July 5 at The Wild Project (195 E. 3rd St.) in Manhattan. Single tickets are now on sale for $18, students tickets are $15 and festival passes are $45. The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that single tickets are now on sale for Public Studio's two inaugural plays, THE URBAN RETREAT and MANAHATTA. The two plays will be presented as pared-down productions and run in repertory from Thursday, May 15 to Sunday, May 25 in The Public's Shiva Theater.

BWW Reviews: LUCE, a Compelling, Thought-Provoking Probe into Reality

Lincoln Center is the largest contiguous performing arts center in the United States. Included in the complex are concert, dance, education, commercial and theatre spaces. The newest venue is the Claire Tow Theatre, a two-story, 23,000 square-foot space built on the roof of the Vivian Beaumont Theatre. The space includes the theatre, rehearsal and office space, and a lobby that opens onto an outdoor terrace surrounded by a new green roof with views of the rejuvenated Lincoln Center Plaza.

David Zayas, Neal Huff & More Join Cast of Nick Sandow's THE WANNABE

Executive Producers Martin Scorsese and Dean Devlin announced today that THE WANNABE, a film written and to be directed by Nick Sandow, has added Vincenzo Amato (GOLDEN DOOR), David Zayas (“Dexter,” ANNIE), Neal Huff (MOONRISE KINGDOM), Mike Starr (GOODFELLAS) and Slaine (THE TOWN) to round-out the cast. The film also stars Patricia Arquette (STIGMATA, TRUE ROMANCE, “Boardwalk Empire”), Vincent Piazza (JERSEY BOYS, “Boardwalk Empire”) and Michael Imperioli (“OLDBOY,” “The Sopranos”) and will be produced by Lizzie Nastro (BLUEBIRD) and Michael Gasparro. Electric is fully financing the project and executive producing and distributing the picture along with Traction Media.
