Stephen Belber (Tape, Match, Dusk Rings a Bell, Fault Lines) returns to the Powerhouse alongside Peter DuBois (Sons of the Prophet, Becky Shaw, Jack Goes Boating, All New People). The cast includes Desmin Borges, Dominic Fumusa, Neal Huff, Russell G. Jones, Greg Kinnear, Ilana Levine, Ben Platt, and Jennifer Westfeldt.

National Jewish Theater Closes THE SOAP MYTH Tonight

National Jewish Theater, Producing Artistic Director Arnold Mittelman, will present a limited Off-Broadway run of The Soap Myth, by Jeff Cohen, from March 23 - April 22 at theBlack Box Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street, between 6th Avenue and Broadway). The Acting Company will present a benefit staged reading of Tennessee Williams' Suddenly Last Summer at 7 pm on Monday, February 13 at the Mainstage Theater (Playwrights Horizons). The performance, starring Dana Ivey (The Help, Importance of Being Earnest), Rebecca Brooksher (The Good Wife), Betsy Aidem (Dreams of Flying Dreams of Falling), Chad Hoeppner (Come Back Little Sheba, Butley) Neal Huff (When I Come to Die, The Little Dog Laughed) and Pamela Nyberg (Doubt tour) will be followed by a reception with the cast and director, Jodie Markell (The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond). Ms. Ivey serves on the Board of The Acting Company; Chad Hoeppner and Pamela Nyberg are both Acting Company Alumni Members. Tickets @ $35 are available from 212-258-3111.

Point-Du Jour, Williams et all Lead Sundance Institute 2010 Acting Company Lab

Sundance Institute announced today the acting company for its 2010 Theatre Lab on Governors Island, which began yesterday June 1 and runs through June 12. Under artisitc direction of Philip Himberg, Producing Artistic Director of the Sundance Instittute Theatre Program, the Lab will provide these projects with guidance in the development of new work for the stage.
