Sara Felder Presents A QUEER DIVINE in Lobby Spaces, Begins 4/15

Performance artist and juggling diva SARA FELDER stars in a new solo comedy A Queer Divine, performed at five different locations throughout Philadelphia beginning April 15 through April 26. A whimsical and moving reflection on art, grief and revelation, A Queer Divine also examines the symbiotic role of audience and artist and the communal art of performance.

Hasselbeck & Browning to Co-Host ABC's 'Thin Ice'; Airs 3/19 & 3/21

More good news for skating aficionados: Music and choreographer details have been unveiled for 'Thin Ice,' a live, televised figure-skating reality competition that will originate from the Premier Ballroom of the MGM Grand at Foxwoods March 18 through 21, and will air in primetime on the ABC Television Network on March 19 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) and March 21 (7:00-8:00 p.m., ET).

BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL Celebrates 5 Years In The West End on March 31

On 31 March 2010, Billy Elliot the Musical will celebrate its fifth birthday in London's West End. The critically acclaimed, internationally award-winning musical opened at the Victoria Palace Theatre in 2005 and has subsequently been seen by over 4.5 million people worldwide.

Met Opera Announces Its 2010 National Council Auditions Winners

The Metropolitan Opera today announced the winners of the 2010 National Council Auditions. They are: Leah Crocetto of Oxford, Connecticut; Lori Guilbeau of Golden Meadow, Lousiana; Elliot Madore of Toronto, Canada; Nathaniel Peake of Humble, Texas; and Rachel Willis- Sørensen of Tri-Cities, Washington. The winners were selected from nine finalists who performed arias with the Met Orchestra, conducted by Marco Armiliato. Each winner receives a cash prize of $15,000 and even more importantly, the opportunity to launch a major operatic career.

Seattle Repertory Theatre Presents FENCES; Previews 3/26, Opening Night 3/31

Seattle Repertory Theatre celebrates the 25th anniversary of August Wilson's beloved story of baseball and family, Fences. The play is being staged in a number of notable productions across the country, including on Broadway next month. Seattle Rep's production, which plays March 26-April 18, 2010, is proud to include Wilson's widow Constanza Romero as the costume designer.

University of Pittsburgh Repertory Theatre Presents A Double Feature, 2/24-2/28

The University of Pittsburgh theatre department will be presenting two student directed student-directed productions, The General of Hot Desire and Parallel Lives, beginning February 24th at the Henry Henymann Theatre. Strand Theater Company's THE LACY PROJECT Closes 2/27

The Strand Theater is committed to producing plays by obscure, unknown, and unpublished playwrights. This season, obscurity comes in the form of two living dolls and one young woman trapped in the shadow of her mother's photographic images in The Lacy Project by playwright Alena Smith. The Lacy Project was selected from a group of thirty new plays submitted to the Strand for possible production.
