MONSTER shatters the 4th wall, engages the audience and ultimately demands they confront their fundamental beliefs.

terraNOVA Collective & Really Sketchy presents MONSTER by Daniel MacIvor. The show is directed by Steve Cook, performed by Avery Pearson, with lighting Design by Robin A. Paterson, theatrical Consultant Byron Laviolette and associate produced by The Bridge Theatre Company.

Spotlighters Theatre and its cabaret series presents SONGS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD on May 2nd at 6:30 pm. The cabaret will be performed by some of Baltimore's favorite performers. Professional actors, directors and designers work to present a collection of ten staged readings, plays and monologues from teen members of the Coterie's Young Playwrights' Roundtable.

In South Coast Repertory's truly excellent World Premiere play DOCTOR CERBERUS (with performances continuing through May 2), playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa takes us back to the mid-1980's to witness the witty coming-of-age tale of one young awkward teen who is just a tad smarter than his years will allow. This, like in all misfits, causes him to be quite anguished by the very nature of his uniqueness in the world. Fox Associates announces its stellar 2010-2011 U.S. Bank Broadway Series. Alongside the previously announced engagement of Broadway's latest sensation BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL, winner of the 2009 Tony Award® for Best Musical; will be Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC, a stunning reinvention produced by Lincoln Center Theater, making its St. Louis debut. Also included in the series are: SHREK THE MUSICAL, based on the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks film that started it all, brings the hilarious story of everyone's favorite ogre to life on stage; 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL the new musical comedy, direct from Broadway & based on the hit movie; and NEXT TO NORMAL winner of three 2009 Tony Awards including Best Score. From 31 May 2010 Genevieve Lemon will join the London cast of the multi-award winning Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre to play Billy's dance teacher Mrs Wilkinson. Lemon, a seasoned musicals performer in her native Australia, will make her West End debut as Mrs Wilkinson as the show enters into its sixth year in London.

Fela!, the critically acclaimed new musical based on the life and music of groundbreaking African composer, performer and activist Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, is directed and choreographed by Tony® Award-winner Bill T. Jones (Spring Awakening), with a book by Jim Lewis and Bill T. Jones. Sahr Ngaujah and Kevin Mambo play the title character at alternate performances, while the world renowned Antibalas and other members of the NYC Afrobeat community, under the direction of Aaron Johnson, perform Kuti's rousing music live onstage.
