ArtsWest Announces SWEENEY TODD

ArtsWest is pleased to announce SWEENEY TODD, Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning musical about a tortured man who carves out a bloody path to vengeance, opening at the ArtWest Playhouse and Gallery on June 1.

Williamston Theatre Presents the Michigan Premiere of TAKING SHAKESPEARE

Illyria features book, music, and lyrics by Peter Mills and is adapted from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night by Mills and Reichel.

Samuel L. Jackson and More to Golf for Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre

Kenny Leon, Artistic Director of True Colors Theatre Company, will host a group of celebrity guests from the entertainment, sports, and media worlds for a two-day event of entertainment and golf to raise funds for the theatre company's education programs including the National August Wilson Monologue Competition for high school students.

American Dream Teeters on the Edge in Dark Comedy THE TALENTED ONES

Artists Repertory Theatre presents the World Premiere of The Talented Ones by Yussef El Guindi, directed by Jane Unger. Preview performances run April 25 through April 28, the play opens April 29 and runs through May 21 on the Morrison Stage. The Talented Ones is Artists Rep's first new play development commission for Table|Room|Stage (T|R|S) as part of the Oregon Community Foundation's "Creative Heights Initiative."

ArtsWest Announces FROZEN

ArtsWest is pleased to announce FROZEN, the Tony Award-nominated play about a serial killer and two women who track him down, opening at the ArtWest Playhouse and Gallery on April 20. Performances will run Thursday through Sunday until May 14.
