Sebastian Armesto & More to Join Frank Langella in Chichester & BAM's KING LEAR

Three time Tony Award-winning, Oscar nominated Broadway and film star Frank Langella plays King Lear at Chichester, prior to the Harvey Theater at BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) in New York, joined by Sebastian Armesto, Max Bennett, Denis Conway, Isabella Laughland, Catherine McCormack, Harry Melling, Lauren O'Neil and Steven Pacey.

Tom Skerritt Completes A TIME TO KILL Broadway Cast

Producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price announced today that Emmy Award-winning actor Tom Skerritt will make his Broadway debut in A Time to Kill, Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel. Skerritt will portray Lucien Wilbanks, the mentor to protagonist Jake Brigance (played by Sebastian Arcelus), in this thrilling, iconic courtroom drama. Skerritt joins the previously announced Sebastian Arcelus, Chike Johnson, Patrick Page, Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins, Fred Dalton Thompson, John Douglas Thompson, and Ashley Williams plus Dashiell Eaves, J.R. Horne, John Procaccino, Tijuana Ricks, and Lee Sellars. Casting is now complete.

Patrick Page, Tonya Pinkins, Chike Johnson, Ashley Williams & More Join A TIME TO KILL on Broadway

Producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price announced today that Patrick Page, Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins, Chike Johnson, and Ashley Williams plus Dashiell Eaves, J.R. Horne, John Procaccino, Tijuana Ricks, and Lee Sellarswill join the previously announced Sebastian Arcelus, Fred Dalton Thompson, and John Douglas Thompson in the new Broadway courtroom drama A Time to Kill, Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel. This new Broadway play holds the distinction of being the first-ever John Grisham property to be adapted for the stage. A Time to Kill is set to open on Broadway on October 20, 2013 at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). Previews begin September 28th. Ethan McSweeny will direct. Frank Langella to Star in KING LEAR at Chichester Festival and BAM, Fall-Winter 2013

Three time Tony Award-winning, Oscar nominated Broadway and film star Frank Langella will play the title role in a new production of William Shakespeare's King Lear opening at Chichester Festival Theatre this autumn, prior to transferring to the Harvey Theater at BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) in New York.

The Caucasian Chalk Circle will begin performances tonight, May 3 at CSC (136 East 13th Street) for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 9. The official opening is Thursday, May 30.

Pace Presents announces the arrival of the Ultima Vez, a Belgium-based dance company currently embarking on a US Tour to the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts for a two-evening engagement, tonight, March 22 & Saturday March 23 at 7:30pm. The company will perform What the Body Does Not Remember which Artistic Director Wim Vandekeybus debuted with Ultima Vez in 1987, stunning the dance world at the time winning a Bessie for this 'brutal confrontation of dance and music.' In 2013, 25 years later and with a new cast, the show once again is on a world tour.

Tom Riis Farrell to Join A.R. Gurney's THE OLD BOY Off-Broadway

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced that Tom Riis Farrell will join the cast of their production of the newly revised version of A.R. Gurney's 1991 play, The Old Boy, replacing Hal Robinson. Performances of this Off-Broadway Limited Engagement begin February 12th and continue through March 24th only. Mr. Robinson withdrew for personal reasons.

Calpulli Dances at Schimmel Center, 12/9

Calpulli Mexican Dance Company brings its celebrated repertoire to Pace University's Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts on Sunday December 9th, 2012 at 2PM and 6PM. The performances were rescheduled due to the impact of superstorm Sandy on lower Manhattan and across the region. The program includes a vibrant celebration of Mexican traditions in dance and live music. The company will premiere Dia de los Muertos (Day of the dead), a captivating work that evokes the unending relationship between the living and the departed with music and dance as the language that transcends. Meticulous costuming, passionate live music, and larger than life surprises are in store.
