In today's New York Time's In Performance video, Joey Slotnick and C.J. Wilson perform a scene from Moira Buffini's dark comedy DYING FOR IT, an adaptation of Nikolai Erdman's 1928 play 'The Suicide.'

It's by tragic coincidence that the Atlantic Theater Company's newest production opens at a time when the permanent silencing of satirists is so fresh in the minds of its audience members.

The 26th Annual Festival of New Musicals, presented by the National Alliance For Musical Theatre (NAMT), kicked off with THE 46TH MINUTE, a concert hosted by Lindsay Mendez and featuring performances by Heidi Blickenstaff, Doreen Montalvo, Mamie Parris, Bryce Ryness, and more. After it's success at the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival in July, 2012 at The Theater at St. Clements, Michael Bush's critically production was then presented last season at Hamilton Stage in Rahway, New Jersey.

Muse Match, an evening that seeks to answer the question, 'What happens when 15 composers go on a blind date with 15 singers?,' will be presented tonight, June 12th, 2014, at 11:30 PM at 54 Below. Produced by Bill Coyne, the evening will benefit ZARA AINA, a charity that brings theater and education to at-risk youth In Madagascar; founded by actors Bryce Pinkham and Lucas Caleb Rooney.
