It's been a whole new world for Disney's Aladdin as the multi-award winning hit Broadway musical has been seen by more than 450,000 people at Sydney's Capitol Theatre.

Following multiple Olivier Award nominations, John Tiffany's The Glass Menagerie enters its final weeks at Duke of York's Theatre with the last performance to be held on Saturday 29th April 2017. This universally acclaimed adaptation of Tennessee Williams' masterful play has been nominated for seven Olivier Awards including Best Director, Best Revival and Best Actress.

Disney Theatrical Productions announced today that Matthew Croke will star in the title role of Aladdin as the new musical based on the classic Academy Award-winning animated film approaches its first birthday in the West End. Jade Ewen will continue in the role of Jasmine and Trevor Dion Nicholas, who made his London stage debut as Genie, remains in the role.

Broadway In Boston has unveiled the upcoming 2017-2018 Lexus Broadway Season at its annual spring Announcement event this evening.  Eight theatrical productions take center stage at the Boston Opera House beginning next fall including the previously announced production of HAMILTON.  Over 1000 people from around the city gathered to celebrate today's announcement including Broadway In Boston's Season ticket holders, group leaders, arts and business leaders, city officials, partners from around the city, sponsors and the Boston media.  Highlights from the day included video messages from WAITRESS composer and six time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles, seven time Grammy Award winner Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan composers of ON YOUR FEET!, the cast of the National Tour of HAMILTON and live performances from cast members of FUN HOME, DISNEY'S ALADDIN, WAITRESS and LOVE NEVER DIES.

American Ballet Theatre's 2017 Spring season at the Metropolitan Opera House, May 15-July 8, will feature the New York Premiere of Alexei Ratmansky's Whipped Cream and the Company Premiere of Ratmansky's Souvenir d'un lieu cher. Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway In Chicago announced today that, due to popular demand, the eagerly-anticipated North American tour of Disney's Aladdin will extend its stay in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph Street) through September 10, 2017.
