The return of the second season of HBO's fantasy drama series GAME OF THRONES was a ratings winner for the cable network, pulling in 3.9 million viewers for its premiere episode on Sunday, April 1. The show broke its previous ratings record of 3 million viewers who tuned in to last year's Season 1 finale. The second season debut saw a 74% increase from the series premiere last year.
