When Natalie's dad suffered a psychotic break, he thought he was Jesus and demons told him to kill himself. Natalie feared that talking about it would stigmatize him. It did. She talked anyway. It may have saved his life.
Dr. John Newman was Natalie Blackman's drama teacher at Highland High from 2000-2004. This fall they are both performing at the United Solo Festival, the world's largest solo theatre festival, on 42nd Street in New York City.
Circle in the Square Theatre School will present THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, dramatized by le Clanche du Rand from the story by C.S. Lewis, presented by arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company, at Broadway's famed Circle in the Square Theatre (50th St., between Broadway and Eighth Avenue), at 10:30 a.m., March 18 - 22.
