This April, Times Square Arts celebrates the 10 year anniversary of its iconic program Midnight Moment, the world's largest and longest-running digital public art exhibition synchronized on electronic billboards in Times Square nightly from 11:57pm to midnight. The program, which began on just six screens in Times Square, has expanded to display artwork on over 90 screens throughout the district.

The City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs has announced the recipients of the 2021/22 City of Los Angeles Individual Artist Fellowships. These nine Fellows will each produce a series, set, or singular new artwork with a grant of $10,000.

This annual curated performance series features new work by women choreographers for pointe. For this, its fifth anniversary season, 7 women choreographers have been paired with 7 female visual artists to collaborate and create both a new physical and visual work by each--investigating the process of creation, inspiration and development.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 135 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. Those who accept the invitation will be the only additions in 2010 to the Academy's roster of voting members. Included in this year's list are Tony Award nominees James Gandolfini (GOD OF CARNAGE) and Anna Kendrick (HIGH SOCIETY), Drama Desk nominee Carey Mulligan (THE SEAGULL), director Adam Shankman ('Hairspray'), and musicians Bono & The Edge (SPIDERMAN: TURN OFF THE DARK).
