Award winners Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez will sing Broadway melodies to support musical theatre scholarships at the 3rd annual Brooklyn Children's Theatre's SPRING SING on Monday, April 24, 2017. Kristen, an Oscar and Grammy winner, co-wrote Broadway's first a capella show, In Transit. Bobby, co-creator of Book of Mornon and Avenue Q, is the youngest ever person to win an EGOT - Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards. The pair are currently adapting their hit film Frozen for Broadway release in Spring, 2018.

Producers Paul Blake and Mike Bosner and The Nederlander Organization announced today the launch of an online ticket lottery for Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic musical, Sunset Boulevard. The Sunset Boulevard Digital Lottery will open daily at 8 am EST (8 pm EST the evening prior for matinee performances), beginning Tuesday, March 7, 2017, for entrants to win a limited number of $55 same day tickets to that day's performance(s). Casting women in male roles is nothing new...cross-gender casting goes back to the earliest days of known drama. Even so, when Curtain Call's executive director and artistic head decided to produce David Mamet's testosterone-driven classic, Glengarry Glenn Ross with all females, he knew heads would turn and tongues would wag. This distaff version of the 1984 Pulitzer Prize winner will play in Curtain Call's Dressing Room Theatre in Stamford, from October 20 through November 6.
