 Last evening, the Apollo Theater celebrated its 11th Annual Spring Gala raising $1.7M for its year-round artistic and community programming initiatives.  The concert portion of the evening was hosted by LL COOL J, and opened with the dynamic dancing duo Laurent & Larry Bourgeois of Les Twins.  The concert also featured performances by legendary R&B group, The O'Jays including rousing version of Love Train, The Backstabbers, For the Love of Money and more.  Rising star vocalist, Leon Bridges brought the crowd to its feet with a performance of Mustang Sally and vocalist Andra Day performed her hit song City Burns,followed by a touching performance of Unforgettable in tribute to legendary songstress Natalie Cole. Host LL COOL J also joined DJ D-Nice for a tribute to Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest - one of several iconic artists lost in 2016. 

Coronation Street legend Kevin Kennedy is to star as Jimmy's Da in the UK tour of the critically acclaimed musical THE COMMITMENTS, written by Roddy Doyle, starting in October 2016.

Direct from a record-breaking residency at the Palace Theatre in London's West End, the smash hit musical comes to the Theatre Royal Glasgow from Monday 12 until Saturday 30 December 2016.

Twenty nine years after The Commitments first burst from the pages of Roddy Doyle's best-selling novel, the world's hardest working soul band will be returning home to entertain audiences where it all began - Dublin!

The standard of performances this year was as high as we have come to expect from these marvellous young artists.

West End musical The Commitments is to close on Sunday 1st November 2015, after a successful run at the Palace Theatre. The London run will be followed by an extensive 2017 UK and Ireland tour, further details will be announced soon.

Today we are holding back tears and bringing out the tissues in honor of the final season of GLEE, premiering tonight.

The Commitments has been bringing the people's music to the people of London, playing to packed houses since the show opened at the Palace Theatre in September 2013. Due to overwhelming popular demand, the show is to extend its current booking period for the second time to 13th September 2015.

Naya Rivera, who portrays Santana on the musical dramedy, tweeted an intriguing message to her followers, prompting many to ask if her character will be getting engaged to her fictional high school sweetheart, Brittany.

According to mjsbligblog.com, the second episode of GLEE's final season, to be titled 'Homecoming' will welcome back a slew of former Lima, Ohio residents!

Killian Donnelly, Sarah O'Connor and Sean Kearns have joined the ensemble for the musical adaptation of Roddy Doyle's novel THE COMMITMENTS, to play the Palace Theatre from tonight, September 21, 2013, with an opening set for October 8, 2013.

The Commitments, Roddy Doyle's best-selling novel, is now live on stage for the very first time.

'One of the greatest singers of all time,' according to Rolling Stone, Darlene Love steps into the St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights spotlight tonight, August 4. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee will be joined by a one-night-only selection of similarly profound musicians hailing from Muscle Shoals, a hotbed of talent and stardom known as the 'Singing River.' Show starts at 7 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Concert will be held at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater.
