Works & Process at the Guggenheim presents Sergei Prokofiev's charming children's classic Peter & the Wolf.

The enduring legacy of pioneering dancer-choreographer Jos Lim n will be feted at Aaron Davis Hall as the Lim n Dance Company brings two of his most acclaimed works to Harlem audiences for the first time on Tuesday, October 24. The program, presented by City College Center for the Arts (CCCA) and the Jos Lim n Dance Foundation, will also present bold new works from three rising stars of the dance world. The evening's program also has the distinction of serving as the Company's first public performance in Harlem following their move to the Everett Center for the Performing Arts in the storied New York neighborhood two years ago.

The Limón Dance Company returns to The Joyce with two programs of works by José Limón, all staged by former principal dancers with the Company, as well as new dances Kate Weare and company artistic director Colin Connor, May 2-7.  

'Terra dei Fuochi / Land of Fires' is an environmental performance project blending modern dance, music and documentary theater to tell the story of Campania Felix, an area in Italy north of Naples that suffered devastating loss of life due to a scandal-ridden toxic waste disaster.  The piece is a three-person dance with multimedia drawn largely from life stories of mothers in the region whose children 'have become angels too quickly.' Accompanying the performance will be a booth providing information about Campania Felix and how it can be compared to others around the world. The aim is to provide further education in the increasing land and water contamination issues facing our global community. This world premiere is choreographed and directed and by Bianca Falco (Napoli, Campania - NYC) and composed by Alberto Falco (Napoli, Campania).  La MaMa will present the work's world premiere March 23 to April 2 in its First Floor Theater, 74A East Fourth Street.

The New Jersey Ballet will perform Ginger Thatcher's Saturday Night as part of the company's annual gala performance on April 9, 2016 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey. This dynamic solo performance by Sara Shelton Mann pays tribute to her iconic and iconoclastic role in Bay Area and international dance history, starting with her years in NYC with Alwin Nikolais and Murray Louis through her decade plus as the choreographer of Contraband to her subsequent collaborations with local and international artists.
