Mr. Williams has worked over 50 years in the military, government, and business sectors. After retirement, he entered into small business consulting, was employed in medical stationary engineering for the next twenty three years after which he worked as a private consultant, and currently with the City and County of San Francisco.
Most recently, he ran for Mayor of Oakland, CA. Even though he was not elected mayor, Mr. Williams is still very much an advocate to make a better Oakland and strives to be an integral part in restoring a positive image to Oakland, improving public safety, and helping our young people make a future for themselves and not become an urban statistic.
Now exploring a writing career, he hopes to open the eyes of all those oblivious to what is really behind all of the turmoil in America today with the book, 'Thoughts of a Common Man.'
