Michael Hagins' THE LONG RAIL NORTH Returns At Fringe Encores

After a successful run in the New York International Fringe Festival, C.A.G.E. Theatre Company is proud to encore The Long Rail North, written by award-winning playwright, Michael Hagins, and directed by Planet Connections' former Artistic Director, Brock H. Hill. The riveting play about a Black Union soldier and a young White Southern girl, will be at the Soho Playhouse, for a special three-performance run.

DRACULA Comes to Life at CCT

This full-length, bloodcurdling play opens October 18 and runs throughOctober 31, just in time for Halloween! Columbus Children's Theatre presents this haunting tale for viewers fourth grade and up and all who love a thrilling tale. While this show has an adult cast, this kind of production is a wonderful learning opportunity for younger actors to see how professional theatre companies run in the comfort of their own theatre. CCT's production, directed by Pamela Hill, will feature original music composition and extravagant technical elements that will captivate all audiences.

Awards Announced For 2018 San Diego International Film Festival

The San Diego International Film Festival (SDiFF), produced by the San Diego Film Foundation, announced today that they have honored Alex Wolff, from the Spotlight presentation "Stella's Last Weekend," with the Auteur Award and Dominique Fishback, from the Gala Presentation "The Hate U Give," with the Rising Star Award. The awards will be presented October 11th at The Night of the Stars Tribute at the Pendry San Diego in Downtown San Diego, CA.

Native Earth Presents World Premiere Of FINDING WOLASTOQ VOICE, 3/29-31

For this year's Niimi'iwe: Indigenous Dance Showcase, Native Earth Performing Arts is thrilled to present Theatre New Brunswick's production of Finding Wolastoq Voice, written and composed by Natalie Sappier-Samaqani Cocahq and directed by Thomas Morgan Jones. Following the World Premiere, the production will hit the road for a month-long provincial tour with a special stop in Toronto, Ontario as part of Native Earth's Niimi'iwe dance series from March 29 to 31 at Aki Studio.

BWW Review: DISNEY'S NEWSIES, in it's Area Premiere, Makes for a Very Pleasant Evening of Theater at Porthouse Theatre

'Newsies' is the Disney produced musical that was inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in which a group of ragtag ruffian youth, who were the breadwinners for their impoverished immigrant families, stood up to the powerful Joseph Pulitzer, the owner of New York's major newspaper. The show is now on stage at Porthouse Theatre, in its area premiere, on the grounds of Blossom Center.
