The York Theatre Company has announced the cast of the rarely-seen musical Bar Mitzvah Boy, with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Tony and Oscar winner Don Black (Sunset Boulevard), and book by Jack Rosenthal (Yentl), as adapted by David Thompson (The Scottsboro Boys).

"Lynn" Singleton, President of the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), will be honored by the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra at their Gala Celebration Dinner on Sunday, June 3 at the Renaissance Providence Hotel, adjacent to The VETS. Singleton will receive the prestigious John Hazen White, Sr. Leadership in the Arts Award. The RI Philharmonic Orchestra's Gala, "Bernstein on Broadway: Glitter and Be Gala," will also feature a 3P concert at The VETS on Sunday, June 3 with the Orchestra, guest conductor Teddy Abrams, and guest artist Morgan James.
