A memorial service has been set for American conductor and musical theatre archivist John McGlinn. The public service will take place at Merkin Hall (129 West 67th Street) at 2pm on McGlinn's birthday, September 18.

Best known as the star and producer of his namesake television show ?The Hughleys,? and as one of the four stand-out comedians featured in Spike Lee?s hit comedy docu-film The Original Kings of Comedy, stand-up comedian D.L. Hughley will perform inside the Lance Burton Theatre at Monte Carlo September 16 ? 19 at 9 p.m. nightly.
