Final casting for Berkeley Repertory Theatre's upcoming production of Fairview was announced today. Written by Jackie Sibblies Drury, directed bySarah Benson, with choreography by Raja Feather Kelly, the world premiere production comes straight to Berkeley Rep from a critically acclaimed New York run. Previews begin on Thursday, October 4 with regular run of the show opening on Thursday, October 11 and continuing through Sunday, November 4. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival will open the U.S. premiere of Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig's Snow in Midsummer, directed by Justin Audibert, on August 5 in the Angus Bowmer Theatre. Preview performances are August 2, 3 and 4, and the play runs through Oct. 27, 2018.

Are we to be summed up solely by the contents of a cardboard box-a somewhat nihilistic attitude in corrugated paper? box. unabashedly demands ransoming our lives from the boxes tucked away under the bed, back of the closet, down in the basement, up in the attic and gives voice to the process, often painful, of packing and unpacking our lives.
