Cantando na Chuva (Singin' in the Rain) leads the list with 11 nominations, followed by Romeu + Julieta, Natasha, Pierre e o Grande Cometa de 1812 and Peter Pan with nine. The Reverencia Award is the only theatrical prize in Brazil, aimed at musical theater, that includes simultaneously spectacles of the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The ceremony will be on November 13, at Teatro Alfa, Sao Paulo.

Harlem 's Underground Rhythm King , Broadway's Omar Edwards, will be bringing his new show HARLEM NIGHTS: The Music, The Song, The Dance back to MIST, Harlem's premier entertainment destination, on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Accompanied by his band, The K 360 Club, Edwards and company take the audience on a musical journey through a pool of sounds from jazz to reggae and back again. Edwards's tap shoes, combined with the seamless instrumentation of musicians, Jarred Barnes on keyboards, Wahkiba Julion on Drums and Shaine Wilson on Bass, provide a unique experience for an audience , in having the cadence and rhythm of Omar's feet , not voice expertly lead the band.
