NHTP Presents MEN ON BOATS By Jaclyn Backhaus

Under the command of an intrepid Civil War veteran with only one arm, ten men set out through uncharted territory in wooden rowboats on the adventure of their lifetimes. Six men completed the journey. New Hampshire Theatre Project's 30th Anniversary Season opens with the exciting adventure story Men on Boats by Jaclyn Backhaus. History, legend, magic realism, and hilarious comedy illuminate the tale of John Wesley Powell's famous 1869 expedition down the Colorado River into the Grand Canyon.

REVERENCIA AWARDS Announces the Nominees of Its 4th Edition: THE SOUND OF MUSIC, Great Success of the Season, Received no Indication.

Cantando na Chuva (Singin' in the Rain) leads the list with 11 nominations, followed by Romeu + Julieta, Natasha, Pierre e o Grande Cometa de 1812 and Peter Pan with nine. The Reverencia Award is the only theatrical prize in Brazil, aimed at musical theater, that includes simultaneously spectacles of the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The ceremony will be on November 13, at Teatro Alfa, Sao Paulo.
