Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Kailey Marshall is quickly becoming one of musical theatre's hottest new voices. Described as Lena Dunham meets Sara Bareilles, Marshall aims to marry the world of pop music with original & unique storytelling.

Penobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy is proud to present The Wedding Singer, July 16-19, at the historic Bangor Opera House. 'The musical brings all of the fun of the original Adam Sandler movie to new life through some rocking songs,' said Director of Education Amy Roeder, 'plus, there's plenty of 80s nostalgia and whimsy.'

 With what's bound to be the feel good theatrical event of the summer, Weston Playhouse Theatre Company presents Pump Boys and Dinettes, an all-American musical celebrating friendship and life's simple pleasures. The show is a revival of a Broadway favorite - a 'triumph of ensemble playing' whose cast includes composer/performer Joe Iconis (NBC's 'Smash') and his 'family' of actor/singer/musicians.

Jessica Vosk is set to join Ladies of Eve at 54 Below! Jessica is currently in Finding Neverland on Broadway. Previous Broadway and Off-Broadway credits include Bridges of Madison County (swing, u/s - Carolyn, Marian/Chiara), Merrily We Roll Along (Encores! concert), Death Takes a Holiday, (u/s Alice, Daisy Fenton, Sophia). 

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Donna Vivino, Lesli Margherita, Drew Gasparini, Ben Fankhauser, and more in "54 Sings Lady Gaga" on July 27.

Ladies of Eve is an evening of music (from both the musical theatre and pop world) and prose -- celebrating the feminine spirit and all her glory.

'Lady and the Vamp' celebrates female musical theatre songwriters. This concert showcases today's female composers and lyricists, with the goal of visibility and gender equality in musical theatre. These ladies are 'breaking the glissando ceiling' in an evening of wine, women, and song.

Performances will be at 7:00 pm this weekend, March 6, 7 and 8 at the William S. Cohen School, 304 Garland Street in Bangor.
