Performances for the return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING begin tonight at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre. The 8-week engagement will play from Thursday June 13 through Sunday August 4, 2019.

Thomas was honoured with the George Luscombe Award for Mentorship in Professional Theatre. The George Luscombe Mentorship Award was inaugurated in 1999. Revolutionary theatre founder and artistic director George Luscombe founded Toronto Workshop Productions (TWP) in 1959, marking the beginnings of Toronto's alternative theatre movement. He was Artistic Director for 27 years at TWP.
Hit musical Come From Away will extend its run in the West End until 15 February 2020. For the past 7 years, SINGular Sensation has been providing music theatre performers (professional or amateur) with an opportunity to display their talent and work on their performance skills at a musical theatre open mic night. The evening, which now takes place on the third Monday of every month, is the brainchild of host Jeni Walls, a musical theatre performer and producer who was inspired to create an evening of live performances from music theatre artists of all experience levels.
